Responsibilities :

  • 12 / 7 / 365 Operational Support provided by Contact Center Tier 1 support via ticketing, email and to internal and external aerospace customers in a timely manner.
  • Provides aircraft on ground (AOG) coverage.
  • Process customer requests for assignment to applicable subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate with Production Control for AOG parts orders.
  • Monitor lines and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate teams / departments.
  • Manage, maintain, and prioritize help desk cases effectively to assign second level issues to the proper support team member and departments when appropriate.

This may include technical or logistics requests.

  • Complete various assignments centered around billing, system maintenance and account auditing.
  • Document, track and monitor technical issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide timely follow-up to client issues to ensure contractual timeframes and guidelines are met.
  • Use appropriate business systems to track and resolve customer issues.
  • Communicates in a professional demeanor during all customer interactions to ensure high customer satisfaction standards are achieved.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Maintain working knowledge of company products, services, rates and processes
  • Experience dealing a technical customer base.
  • Escalates unresolved and outstanding customer issues to the Contact Team Leader or Manager when appropriate.
  • Perform add / modify / delete of user profiles and accounts. This should only be handled at a higher level.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular client communication.

Requirements :

  • 5 or more years of contact center or help desk experience in a technical / help desk environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent PC skills, experience using MS Office, MS Outlook and Excel
  • Must be able to work on weekends and 2nd shift as needed.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in Aerospace / Airline operations.

Acceptable candidates must provide one of the following certifications :

  • 2-yr technical / associate degree
  • Preference given for mechanical / aerospace related study.

Role Summary :

To fabricate and repair complex composite and metal bonded assemblies. Includes the teardown of assemblies post cure and the cleaning of bond tools.

Bonded assemblies are complex due to the quantity of interrelated components requiring precision alignment in fixtures not completely equipped with stops, locators, etc.

and / or close tolerances critical to accurate assembly. To perform this function in accordance with the following duties.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Uses works from engineering and tool design drawings, specifications, sketches and / or verbal information to fabricate and repair composite and metal bonded assemblies
  • Studies information, tools and details to plan fabrication of assignment
  • Prepares materials, molds, patterns, adhesives, etc., for molding and bonding processes
  • Makes and uses templates to cut materials to desired shape
  • Lays-out resin impregnated sheets against molds where complex contours and angles are usually encountered in inaccessible areas, requiring manipulative skill to fit and smooth laminates to eliminate wrinkles and remove air pockets
  • Works laminate layers to desired smoothness to eliminate voids, delamination, crazing, blistering and wrinkles
  • Locates all parts and assemblies which involves precision alignment and location of components to close tolerances and fitting and adjusting assemblies and components in and out of fixtures to meet specifications
  • Determines location, position, accuracy of fit, conformity to contour, etc., of bonded assemblies by comparison with drawings and sketches
  • Fabricates initial bonded assemblies, proving tools and component parts used in their fabrication, ascertains location, fit, clearance, etc.

  • Determines method and sequence of work operations for use in assembling subsequent units
  • Removes parts post-cure from associated molds and tools
  • Cleans molds and / or tools as part of teardown process
  • Repairs any damage to composite and metal bonded assemblies where the repair requires the utilization of uncured or prefabricated repair details on areas requiring intricate precision layouts
  • Grinds, shaves, countersinks and inserts as specified in MPP's
  • Adheres to company safety procedures and regulations
  • Operation of cranes, fork trucks, people lifts, upenders, lift tables, and rotating devices is required
  • Duties involve working at heights, working around cured and pre-cured graphite, and use of lasers, hand and power tools
  • Participates and actively engages in Collaborative Work Group to meet business goals

Requirements :

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • HS diploma / GED equivalent
  • Broad shop trade knowledge of bonding procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings, lofts, and specifications, use shop mathematics and work with all types of precision measuring instruments

Job Summary

Middle River Aerostructure Systems is interested in hiring a Warehouse Manager who has excellent problem-solving skills within ERP Systems.

The Warehouse Manager will serve as a liaison to Upper Management and Floor Supervisor(s) and drive process improvements in all parts of the Production Control Team, with a focus on inventory accuracy and material handling.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Learn, in-depth, the processing requirements of all Stockroom and Receiving Dock Transactions
  • Problem solves issues in SAP ERP System to help Shop Floor, Leadership, Planners, and Hourly employees. Works directly with ERP consultants to drive resolutions and ERP improvements
  • Extract reports and data from SAP and work with hourly / salaried personnel to maintain data integrity in EWM SAP
  • Participate in and host Internal and External Audits (NADCAP, AS9100, FAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Engage and interact with hourly personnel, management, and various departments to make Value Stream Map improvements, specifically in the aspects of Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Manage Salaried Floor Supervisor(s), who manages Hourly, Union Stockroom and Receiving staff, assisting with coaching and counseling employees regarding individual performance and development needs
  • Attend required interdepartmental, departmental, and executive level meetings needed, speaking to action items and status of all aspects of the Department
  • Support after hours / weekend activities, where needed, to maintain production scheduling
  • Support Annual Physical Inventory activities, working side-by-side with the Inventory Manager
  • Administrative activities include ordering Non-Inventory Supplies, Timecard Approval, SOP creation / updating

Requirements :

To qualify for the position of Warehouse Manager, the skills are required :

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics / Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, and / or relevant degree required with 5 years of Warehouse experience;

preferably in Inventory Control.

  • Strong proficiency in ERP System(s). Preferably SAP; preferred 3-5 years' experience.
  • 3-5 years Supervisor Experience is required (Union Management preferred)

Summary :

To perform complex assembly and / or installation operations involving fitting and adjusting parts and assemblies of major production sub assemblies* or complete minor assemblies , to checkout minor assembly tools;

and / or to perform the more difficult types of riveting. To perform this function in accordance with the following duties :

Responsibilities :

Works from blueprints, tool write-ups, lofts, sketches, verbal information, etc. to perform assigned duties.

Performs assembly of a major production subassembly* and operations of similar complexity where the work involves assembly or installation without the aid of tools, or the existing tools do not locate all parts and assemblies and the specifications necessitate fitting and adjusting of parts or details, coordinating of location of many details and similar duties.

Determines location, position, accuracy of fit, conformity to contour, etc., of parts and assemblies by comparison with blueprints and / or lofts.

Reams holes where no tool is provided, or where extremely close tolerances must be held.

Fairs outer surfaces where the contour of the work surface is formed into compound angles and reverse curves by working the frames or sunken areas into smooth contour and correct position.

Performs the more difficult types of riveting operations including riveting in areas where accessibility is very difficult.

Suggests and uses special types of bucking bars and / or riveting tools as required to accomplish assigned tasks. Adjusts and operates Drivematic, Erco, and similar riveting machines.

Makes repairs, replacements and alterations in accordance with engineering and / or Quality Control requirements on work performed by self or other employees when such operations entail work as specified above.

Prepares surface areas for the application of adhesive and / or sealing compounds by wiping clean with solvent.

Applies primer and adhesive to surface, installs parts and material, and assures proper fit.

Seals parts by applying proper sealant, lays parts together and uses clamps, screws and fasteners as required.

Visually checks parts to assure proper application of sealant.

Performs initial assembly of parts in minor assembly tools to ascertain location, fit, clearance, etc., of parts in tool and to prove the method and sequence of work operations.

Uses check tools, fixtures, inspection gauges, and precision measuring devices to acquire product acceptance data. Enters such data into the Improved Inspection System (IIS).

Requirements :

  • Requires a HS diploma / GED equivalent.
