Main Ingredients of the Job
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift / carry / push / pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
What You Bring to the Table
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months Class A commercial truck driving experience (any industry) OR three months Class A commercial truck driving experience in the food and / or beverage delivery industry required
- Ability to operate manual transmission
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Truck Driver - Tandem
Description
Note : This position is under the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local No. 455. Applicant will be required to join IUOE Local.
Position Summary
Hauling asphalt, road base, and other construction materials to and from various paving and construction sites in and around the Denver Metro area.
Job also involves loading / unloading and transporting construction equipment while working closely with crew to complete projects in and efficient manner.
Work Hours : Monday - Friday with various weekends.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a tanker (N) endorsement.
- No restriction (E) for a manual transmission.
- Knowledge and experience in the Asphalt Industry.
- Self-starter and punctual. Willing and able to work weekends and nights as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with all FMCSA rules and regulations in the operation of a CMV. Able to perform and document a Pre and Post Trip Inspection.
- Safety minded and able to work well with changing schedules
Compensation We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $25.90+. Membership with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local No.
455 is required upon hire. Condition and terms of employment and benefits are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

CDL A Delivery Truck Driver
Starting pay rate of $27 / hr and drivers that have been with us for at least 6 months average $107K
$15,000 Sign-On Bonus will be awarded to individuals with at least 1 year of Food / Beverage Delivery experience. Other drivers will receive a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus.

Essential Duties :
- Loading and / or unloading products at various locations primarily within a specific geographic territory
- Delivering items including dry, perishable and frozen foods, chemicals or any other items a customer might need
- Collecting Cash on Deliveries (COD)
- Recording money transactions on customer receipt
- Recording information on daily sales and delivery record
- Obtaining customer signatures upon pickup / delivery
- Complying with company policies and D.O.T. regulations
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma / GED preferred
- One or more years of tractor trailer / route delivery experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) for tractor trailer operation
- Must have a good driving record for past 36 months
- Flexible and available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

Truck Driver
The Truck Driver position is responsible for transporting, delivering, and retrieving assorted construction and heavy equipment in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
An individual in this position will operate both commercial and non-commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Transport, deliver and retrieve various construction materials and heavy equipment
- Operate commercial and non-commercial vehicles
- Perform DOT-required pre and post-trip inspections
- Properly maintain delivery documents for inspection upon request
- Secure construction equipment and other equipment utilizing chaining, strapping, and binding under the strict accordance and established procedures of the DOT
- Maintain open communication with Branch Manager and / or central dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays, traffic conditions, weather, etc.
- Active participant in the Herc Rentals Safety culture, always prioritizes the safety of people
- Follow all company procedures and protocols
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Professional Experience
Knowledge of commercial driving skills in maneuvering at various speeds in difficult locations, heavy traffic, inclement weather, mountainous terrain or tight loading dock areas
Ability to read and comprehend the standards of operating procedures, owner’s manuals and product / warning labels
Ability to operate large, heavy machinery
Knowledge and understanding of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Educational Background
H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Truck Driver
Driver must have either Class A, B, C or Operator. This is a local job, and the driver will operate in a 500-mile radius of Aurora, CO.
