POSITION OVERVIEW :

A successful Slot Project Technician will be able to execute projects and tasks in a timely manner with the utmost accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :

• Install, relocate, convert and remove slot machines and associated equipment from Taverns, Convenience Stores, Grocery Stores and Casinos
• Install locks, player tracking and set machine options on all slot machines.
• Run and terminate CAT-6 and Fiber lines.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all slot machines
• Diagnose and repair slot machine components and associated equipment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• Three years (3) of Slot Technician or similar experience required
• Practical knowledge of slot machine repair, hardware, software and other components.
• Basic understanding of slot install process
• Previous experience with Konami Synkros player tracking preferred
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Position Summary

• Develop and proof math models for slot games that demonstrate game probabilities and return to player via theoretical calculation and / or simulation
• Code, test, and debug simulations of slot games to gather statistics and verify accuracy of math models
• Collaborate with software engineers and math test engineers to ensure math models are properly implemented and compliant with applicable regulations
• Collaborate with other mathematicians and game designers to brainstorm new game mechanics and to determine mathematical feasibility of concept math models
• Develop an understanding of competitive products and technologies

Qualifications

Experience

• 2-5 years of professional experience in applied mathematics, probability, and / or combinatorics
• Gaming industry experience is preferred, but not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Have strong multi-tasking skills
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work will with others in a team environment
• Ability to bring projects to completion with minimal supervision
• Ability to adapt to a customer-oriented, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in C++, C#, or a similar object oriented programming language
• Familiarity with working in a Windows programming environment, including Visual Studio

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience required

What you’ll do as a Slot Development Manager :

Design and develop casino slot games and own projects from the development stage to delivery.

Research casino slot games and jurisdictional regulations, considering the launch of current and future products.

Test game builds at all stages of development and troubleshoot applications on various devices.

Translate casino game design experience into digital environments while ensuring the essence of casino play isn’t lost in translation.

Create new slot game concepts from scratch and liaise with outside vendors.

Assist in managing the release of new casino games and slots into the DraftKings Casino ecosystem.

Collaborate with Production and Development teams to deliver a completed final product.

Assist in measuring the performance of each game and feature launched and help set KPI metrics for additional products.

Assist team members in implementing optimal project management processes to improve overall team efficiency and delivery success rates.

Job Title : Slot Technician Reports to : Casino Manager Slot tech needed on a on call basis when needed to diagnose and order necessary parts.

Slot tech will be hired as an independent contractor and will be paid per job. Must have experience in diagnosing issues and installing parts.

No actual repair on site will be required. - General Maintanance of slot machines - Must be knowledgable of New and Older Slot Machines - Slot tech to diagnose issues - Order Parts - Install Parts - Independent Contractor Slot tech will be called in to diagnose issues.
