- Must follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages. (May vary by state)
- Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes.
- Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description.
- Must be able to responsibly handle cash transactions.
- Must be able to consolidate and coordinate needs for all tables within their station.
- Must be able to carry food and beverages.
- Must be physically able to dance.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.

Job Summary :
The Chavoor Server reports to the Restaurant and Bar Supervisor. They provide exceptional table service and utilize proper etiquette when engaging Chavoor guests.
This position delivers high-quality and professional interactions to enhance the Chavoor experience for all guests. The Chavoor Server ensures members receive the finest in dining, events, and entertainment related services in the Chavoor.
The Chavoor Server communicates with other departments in the club to maintain fluidity of the overall department and its functions.
Essential Functions :
- Represents the Restaurant and Bar department and Arden Hills with the utmost professionalism, hospitality, and integrity.
- Prepares tables according to Arden Hills standards, ensuring the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.
- Greets guests as they are seated at the table, maintaining a high-level of professionalism.
- Makes recommendations to guests for food and beverages.
- Ensures thorough knowledge of menu items including but not limited to gluten, lactose, vegan, meat, and allergens food items may contain.
- Accurately records guests’ order and answers questions about the menu.
- Promptly delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.
- Creates meaningful connections with members and guests.
- Ensures food is prepared correctly and to customer satisfaction, returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : (Key Tasks and Responsibilities)
- Reports to work as indicated on the work schedule and in the correct uniform. Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
- Obtains station assignments from host / hostess or Manager-On-Duty at the start of the work shift; correctly completes all assigned opening and side work duties in a timely manner.
- Greets guests immediately, makes suggestions and answers questions regarding food, beverages and service. Practices salesmanship to enhance the dining experience without allowing guests to over order.
Uses guests’ names regularly throughout the dining experience
- Takes and records food and beverage orders from guests according to RCSH Sequence of Service and Pivot Point systems.
- Processes guests’ orders, using the computer terminal according to RCSH Sequence of Service, Pivot Point and Food Timing systems to ensure all items are prepared and served on a timely basis.
Ensures all items are rung on the computer.
Ensures that all food and beverages delivered and served are served promptly, garnished correctly and meet the quality / presentation standards of RCSH.
Personally serves all entre items to the guests.
- Observe restaurant diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with food, beverages and service : immediately recognizes and responds to any guest needs and / or requests.
