What you will do

  • Coordinates with the Sponsor’s Contracting Officer Representative (COR) concerning billet management, the preparation of the DD 254, requests for SCI access for staff members
  • Maintains effective independent liaison with management and executive personnel in appropriate government, industrial organizations, and other HII divisions
  • Implementing and administering a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program, as well as assist in the implementation of all compliant SCI security policies and procedures for classified / proprietary materials, documents, and equipment for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
  • Understanding of industrial security regulations and federal security regulatory requirements of the ICS / ICD 705 and 706, NISPOM, and DOD 5105.

21 Volumes 1-3 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Manuals

  • Access controls and intrusion detection system (IDS) for monitoring and controlling secure areas and alarm response
  • Providing support to all preparations for customer security reviews / inspections on an ongoing basis and must participate in those reviews;

must also have a track record of success customer review results

  • Understanding established procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to SCI and restricted programs.
  • Experience with conducting security education and training programs for SCI
  • Experience in investigating security violations and preparing reports specifying preventive action to be taken
  • Administering the SCI Nomination process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SCI Nomination packages
  • Conducting annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program off sites; providing Foreign Travel briefings and handle reporting requirements
  • Classified document control to include maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition
  • Administrative Security functions such as organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork
  • Maintaining all end of day logs, safe checks, visitor logs and pass down logs
  • Providing security escorting for uncleared personnel as required
  • Processing and tracking incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests
  • Perform COMSEC requirements as required
  • Assist the Prime with additional security support as required
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for

10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;

or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience

Must have an understanding of DOD industrial security regulations and procedures, including experience administering provisions of the NISPOM, ICS / ICD 705 and 706, and DOD 5105.

21 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Manuals

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as make significant contributions in a team environment
  • Must be able to successfully complete the CDSE Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification within 2 years of employment
  • Must have excellent communication skills to include verbal and written, as well as be an experienced Security professional with tact and diplomacy being key
  • Clearance : Must possess and maintain a TS / SCI clearance

POSITION SUMMARY : This armed position is under the direct supervision of the Manager for assigned high profile site and performs a variety of security-related duties.

In this position, you will observe and report activities and incidents at assigned locations, providing for the security and safety of client property, visitors, and personnel.

As an armed officer, you may respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol.

Additionally, you will assist in preserving order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position

Responsiblefor day-to-day operations and assists with management of Security Servicesdepartment including budgeting, planning, directing and staffing.

Supervises,monitors and directs security activities for the purpose of providing safetyand security of buildings, assets, premises, employees, patients, residents andvisitors.

Ensures the development and provision of departmental services inaccordance with established policies, standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

High schooldiploma, or equivalent, required. Minimum three (3) years work experiencein safety and security desired; or any combination of education and experience,which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet theminimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.

Experience in ahospital or health care facility, preferred. State of Hawaii Guard Employee(GDE) License and valid driver’s license with a clear driving record asevidenced by a driver’s abstract required.

Certification by InternationalAssociation for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) upon or within twelve(12) months of hire, required.
