Hospital Details Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland, located in Portland, OR is a 65 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries.
Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning.
As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities Performs a variety of duties to ensure the security of patients, visitors, staff and hospital assets. Documents security exposures and notifies appropriate personal of unusual activity inside or outside the hospital.
Interacts with patients and family members following the hospital’s channels of clinical, security, and administrative communication.
Required Skills : High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional Qualifications / Skills : One year of previous security service experience, military experience, or law enforcement experience preferred.
Previous healthcare security experience is also strongly preferred. Ability to de-escalate confrontations. Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Security Analyst to join their team and help protect their organization's information systems and networks.
As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their IT assets.
This role is a hybrid model in Vancouver, Washington with 2-3 days onsite.
Security Analyst Responsibilities
Perform ongoing monitoring and analysis of security events, logs, and alerts to identify potential security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Conduct security risk assessments and evaluations, providing recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
Participate in the development and implementation of security awareness and training programs for employees.
Support the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, endpoint security, and encryption solutions.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure secure configurations, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
Participate in security audits, providing necessary documentation and evidence to support audit findings.
Stay informed of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and emerging technologies to proactively update and improve security measures.
Security Analyst Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Six years of experience in information security, IT, or a related field, preferably in a security analyst role.
Strong knowledge of security principles, technologies, and industry best practices.
Familiarity with various security frameworks and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS / IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex security issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, are highly desirable.
