The Opportunity This opportunity as an Electronic Security Technician is perfect for an experienced low-voltage technician who enjoys working on security systems! The Responsibilities Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects Serves as the face of EFS to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations Handles service orders and project administration Performs follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection The Necessities Ability to travel Valid CPR / First Aid card Valid electrician certificate or trainee card High school diploma or equivalent IT or basic electrical wiring experience Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Good communication skills to interface with customers Ability to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions, and understand code requirements Attention to detail Ability to work autonomously Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and MVR screenings Great to Have Relevant factory certifications and knowledge are always a plus.

This CISO role is for a global cybersecurity leader with a passion for Linux and open source to help define the way we secure its corporate infrastructure, designs its products and assures regulatory compliance.

This role will be responsible for the end to end definition and implementation of the cybersecurity and compliance program.

They will continue to build a world-leading team of cybersecurity professionals currently in excess of 30 people and work to define and implement process and technical security controls.

Key responsibilities

  • Define a cybersecurity strategy and operating model that is aligned with our business objectives
  • Develop and track a clear, measurable cybersecurity plan
  • Assume responsibility for our information security and compliance program
  • Build, develop and lead a high performing cybersecurity and compliance team
  • Advise business and engineering leadership in the implementation of cybersecurity and compliance
  • Present regular reports to our executives and our Board of Directors

Valued skills and experience
