Position Summary :
Anistar Technologies is seeking a Access Control Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.
Assist teams or a crew in the installation and implements and / or performs service for new equipment installation, equipment, or system repairs.
Position supports the security solutions business by installing and troubleshooting newly installed electronic security encompassing intrusion detection, access control, and closed circuit television equipment and devices.
Responsibilities of an Access Control Technician :
Perform service / installation of various security management solutions including access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, and other various security related systems.
Must be able to install, configure, and test equipment and devices associated until final product is complete.
- Evaluates, diagnoses, troubleshoots, re-configures, and tests equipment and devices associated and repairs as necessary.
- Performs upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality and usability.
- Performs computer program entry as required to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.
- Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects / work orders efficiently.
- Read and understand drawings and prints to install the correct equipment in the correct locations.
- Terminate equipment and field devices while completing and verifying the operation from the field to the reporting systems.
- Lead team and delegate tasks as needed. Demonstrate proper techniques.
- Be willing to do what is required to complete the required task on any given day.
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience :
- Must be able to read technical documents, drawings and prints.
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to think on their feet. As the environment is fast paced and technically demanding.
- Must have experience with IP based systems.
- Working knowledge of Software House, Open Option and Lenel would be a plus.

Responsibilities
Position Summary
The IT Security Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems at Youth Villages with an emphasis on security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions tomanagement
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
- Assist the IT Systems Administrator with configuring and maintaining servers across multiple locations
- Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures
- Educate and train staff on information system security best practices
- Approve and deploy updates for corporate applications and operating systems
- Configure and maintain network hardware including, but not limited to, switches, routers, servers, workstations and fiber equipment
- Manage Active Directory and group policies for multiple OUs and AD sites
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed for various systems.
- Ensure security of Youth Villages’ networks using intrusion detection, firewall configuration, anti-virus protection and vulnerability assessment.
- Manage technical projects of different lengths and scopes
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues
- Work with a team of technicians to create effective and efficient solutions to problems
- Maintain documentation and training materials
Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelors in computer related field or equivalent experience (Required)
Certification and Licensures Requirements
3-5 years’ experience in related field
A+, N+ and MCP certifications are a plus
Microsoft Windows Server versions 2008R2 2019
Microsoft 365 configuration and troubleshooting
Network firewall configuration and troubleshooting
SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), PAM (Privileged Access Management), MDR (Managed Detection & Response), and mail filtering systems
Network and system monitoring with software like PRTG
DFS, network-printing, file shares, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, NFTS file permissions
Microsoft Office applications
Cloud-based network management with vendors like Meraki and Ubiquiti
Virtualization using MS Hyper-V or VMWare
Backup and restore procedures using Veeam or similar backup solution
