  • Gathers and protects evidence or scene of incidents in the event of accidents, emergencies or security investigations
  • Partner with Leadership team on any security and safety matters related to daily operations.
  • Promote company values and culture while interacting with external and internal people
  • Participate in monitoring quarterly and yearly inventory counts
  • Maintain and submit daily security reports such as visitors and associate concerns.
  • Report any concerning observations or incidents to Security manager and Director of Security.
  • Monitor deliveries, order pick-ups, scrap drop-offs and deliveries on the receiving dock
  • Perform other security / safety duties as needed
  • Escort vendors and / or visitors in the building as necessary

What You'll Need :

  • Education and / or Experience :
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent; or 1-3 years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Security Management and Investigations
  • NM State Security license
  • Valid NM Driver’s License or Real ID

Communication Skills :

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interprets documents according to company standards.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from associates or Leadership members.

Ability to give feedback and / or direction for security or safety matters

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability :

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to act in a calm, reassuring, and professional manner when dealing with emergencies or associate issues

Physical demands / Work environment

This position has physicalrequirements, including the ability to sit / stand for long periods of time,bend, stoop, reach, twist, and walk on a regular basis throughout the entire8-hour shift, and lift up to 20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
