Seasonal ABA Teacher - 6 Weeks (July - August 2023) FULL-TIME
This position requires weekly water activities (swimming pool and / or beach). You must be able to enter the water.

Responsibilities :
- Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and plans for improvement.
- Maintain a positive, organized, and safe learning environment.
- Manage time, materials, and equipment effectively.
- Maintain a strong knowledge base and share information regarding best practices and proven methodologies in teaching students with autism and related disorders.
- Interpret data for instructional planning and program evaluation.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of subject matter content.
- Differentiate instruction in a group setting to address individual student skills / strengths / weaknesses.
- Apply principles of learning and effective teaching in instructional delivery.
- Planning and submitting weekly lesson plans for assigned groups in advance which adequately detail the objectives and methodologies to be utilized in a given week.
- Teachers will be expected to follow the school curriculum and methodology set forth by the Director.
- Recognize overt indicators of student distress or abuse and take appropriate action based on school procedures and law.
- Use appropriate materials, technology, and resources to help meet the learning needs of all students.
- Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with other professionals, students, parents, and the community.
- Arrive no later than 7 : 45 am and stay until 3 : 15 pm.
- Follow school policies as outlined in the Employee Manual.
- Collaborate with other professionals and parents.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
- Applied Behavior Analysis including discrete trial training, task analyses, and works 1 : 1 with students.
- Other activities include teaching job and life skills to students in the community, attending training regarding The Victory Center’s program, and weekly staff meetings.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge and experience teaching students with autism and related disorders.
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Competency in working with special needs population, including Autism, intellectual disabilities, varying exceptionalities, and / or language speech impaired.
- Prevention Crisis Management Certification (preferred).
- First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Currently enrolled in a master’s program in ABA, psychology, special education, or related field (preferred).
- Valid teaching certification / BcABA (preferred).
- Flexibility in teaching area (multiple certifications or experience) (preferred).
- Experience teaching verbal behavior based on Skinner’s analysis (preferred).
- Ability to interact with all levels of individuals.
- Computer skills including file sharing, MS Office (particularly Excel and Word).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Skill in oral and written communication with students, parents, and others.
- Enthusiasm for working with children with special needs.
- Responsible and caring attitude for the population we serve.
- Ability to plan and implement activities.

Kids Team Member - Seasonal
Position Summary
A Kids Team Member provides best-in-class fitness-minded children's engagement and programming. Organizes and implements engaging safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy, hosts Parties or other paid programs or events.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games in the Kids Academy
- Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
- Maintains the Kids Academy and other program areas by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks
- Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
Position Requirements
- Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
- First Aid certification, Infant / Child and Adult CPR / AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
- Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

ABOUT THE ROLE
TEAM :
Univision is seeking a talented Stagehand for its Miami, Florida facility to assemble / disassemble, relocate, and maintain sets and props.
YOUR DAY-DAY :
- Assemble and set up backdrops, scenery and set pieces for rehearsals and productions
- Load and unload props and materials from trucks
- Assemble, dismantle, and store scenery, set pieces and props
- Set up lighting, props, and microphones
- Move and rearrange furniture
- Unload and set up road cases
- Construct and paint set pieces
- Set up risers and musical equipment
- Ensure props are affixed properly
- Assist with video, sound, and lighting production needs, such as, setting up video monitors and sound equipment
- Ensure props are present at beginning of scene and taken away at end
- Set up flats
- Work with electricians and lighting assistants
- Help carpenters build and install scenery
- Clean up stage and backstage area after performance
- Perform other tasks as assigned by manager
YOU HAVE :
- 2-3 years of experience with live studio broadcast.
- Knowledge of set monitors and other essential studio hardware.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Works effectively with others in a team environment.
- Comfortable with all aspects of the production.
- Perform well in a high paced environment and in breaking news situations.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, hurricanes and off-peak shifts as required.

DayWorker - Seasonal Laborer
Responsibilities :
- Upkeep ranch appearance by repairing farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
- Operate farm and heavy equipment such as loaders, harvesters, tractors, skid loader, and trucks.
- Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.
- Properly and safely care for animals.
