Job Description

The Director of Sales is responsible for planning, preparing and coordinating sales activities designed to meet revenue objectives.

Implements and reinforces the Company’s basic sales training program to be consistent with Company objectives. Responsible for ensuring that sales activities and labor rules are conducted in compliance with State, Corporate, and National Sales guidelines and regulations.

  • Sets clear, well-defined and reasonable goals for each associate and oversees staff in the development of sales strategies to meet established goals
  • Hire, fire, recruit, train, and develop staff. Conduct performance appraisals, counseling, and coaching sessions. Handle disciplinary action and / or terminations
  • Assists sales representatives in closing sales, as well as in the preparation and explanation of necessary documentation for completing sales transactions
  • Responsible for site meeting or exceeding budgeted expectations by maximizing sales opportunities while controlling commissions and administrative costs.
  • Develops and manages sales operating budget
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Attain sales objectives and bottom line profit

Performs the job assigned complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.

Job Requirements :

  • 1-3 years Vacation Ownership sales management experience.
  • The ability to analyze information and use logic to address / solve problems. The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand.

The ability to persuade others to change their minds or behavior. The ability to motivate and mentor staff. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

You will :

  • Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region.
