Restaurant Team Leader
Summary
As a Restaurant Team Leader you directly influence the success of MOD by assisting the store General Manager execute restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
Restaurant team leaders are all about leading Squads on shift. You will delegate tasks so that the MOD customer experience is achieved and maintained for Squads and customers.
As a Restaurant Team Leader your objective is to live, teach, and demonstrate the MOD purpose; To serve people in order to contribute to a world that works for and includes everyone.

Physical Requirements
As a member of our Squad, you will be working in a restaurant environment, rotating between front and back of house. This requires walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing and pulling to handle or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
You will also be asked to operate hand-held appliances and simple kitchen equipment (industrial can opener, dough press, industrial dishwasher, etc.
Depending on the location, you may need to go up and down stairs. The ability to communicate and exchange information with coworkers and others is also required.
The ability to comply with all public health requirements, including wearing a mask, is required.
Working Conditions
- High noise levels due to operations, customers and overhead music (including, but not limited to, rock, punk and alternative)
- May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on store (varied weather conditions are expected); including delivering order curbside to the customer
- Will work near moving or mechanical parts
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
- Must be authorized to work in the United States We make pizza so we can serve people

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee the execution of the Via 313 brand daily
- Serve as the point of contact for all customer service matters.
- Oversee the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Via 313 standards
- Assess and communicate the hiring needs of the store. Follow hiring processes for all employees according to mandatory guidelines.
- Complete all new hire paperwork / onboarding according to necessary deadlines
- Train employees professionally and profitably by applying Via 313 policies and procedures
- Identify areas of improvement and provide one-on-one mentoring. Administer and document verbal warnings, write-ups, and performance improvement action plans.
- Demonstrate experienced knowledge of all menu items
- Lead monthly meetings with all employees
- Troubleshoot store profitability by monitoring daily and weekly sales and cost control figures.
- Organize the restaurant following proper food rotation and cleanliness procedures
- Order all food, paper, chemical, and other supplies as needed to run the store
- Record and organize store invoices
- Create weekly staff schedules to fit the scheduling forecast and needs of the restaurant
- Ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures
- Follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, and security.
- Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation policies and procedures
- Send weekly update reports to the Director of Operations.
