Job Description
The Recruiter position will be assigned to the Steward National Traveler Network.
Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
Under general supervision the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) counsels applicants about job opportunities within the hospital, screens resumes and applications, interviews qualified applicants for various positions, schedules candidates to interview with hiring manager and conducts offers of employment.
The TAS will initiate background checks and prepare documents to assist HR in the new hire process. The TAS confers with requesting departments regarding staffing needs, trends, position requirements and strategies.
The TAS will initiate contact and schedule recruiting visits to colleges and schools, professional meetings and conferences.
The TAS will utilize current practices marketing practices to attract talent, including but not limited to social networking, college visitation programs, mail and or email campaigns, networking in the community and prospecting.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or other related field preferred
- Minimum of two years of recruiting experience required
- Technical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills relevant to Human Resources to effectively communicate with applicants, employees, team members, department managers / directors and administration.
- Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision, to independently carry out the duties of the position.
- Proven ability to work productively in an environment with high levels of interruption.
- Ability to maintain confidentialityâ â â â â
- Basic knowledge of personnel management, employment and recruit ment techniques, and laws relating thereto.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

In partnership with the Senior Physician Recruiter, the Physician Recruiter is responsible for sourcing candidates to fill identified roles, qualifying applicants, and providing a positive overview of the practice in which they will be working within Steward Health Care system.
The Physician Recruiter actively sources candidates locally and nationally as needed to fill open positions and create a pipeline of future candidates for our medical group.
We are seeking someone to join our team who is enthusiastic about the industry, able to build strong relationships and shepherd candidates through the recruitment, selection and onboarding process.

Recruiter
We are looking for a Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees.
What does a Recruiter do?
A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs.
You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals .
Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.
Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline .
Responsibilities
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board / newspapers / colleges etc
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools / methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Assess applicants relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Promote companys reputation as best place to work
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter )
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews ( structured , competency-based, stress etc)
- Hands on experience with various selection processes ( video interviewing , phone interviewing , reference check etc)
- Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ / EQ tests, etc)
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- BS / MS in Human Resources Management
