Job Purpose
To effectively and efficiently check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, confirm and / or reschedule appointments as needed, and collect payments for services provided.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent customer / patient service and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand information and effectively present information one-on-one with patients.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out details written or verbally instructed.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with dental management software experience. EagleSoft experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in fast paced, patient-focused environment.
- Detail oriented. Dental Receptionist must be aware of and follow insurance plan rules and protocols.
- Interpersonal skills. Sometimes patients are in pain and / or mental stress. The Dental Receptionist should be patient and sensitive to patient emotions.
- Listening skills. Dental Receptionist must be able to listen to patients and other healthcare workers and follow directions from a Dentist or supervisor.
- Organizational skills. Dental Receptionist should have excellent organizational skills; insure all record keeping requirements are fully and accurately completed.
Qualifications (Experience, Education, License, Certification)
- Previous dental office experience preferred but not required.
- Requires excellent customer service skills.

We are looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team! The Receptionist is responsible for greeting guests and answering phones to point customers in the right direction.

Receptionist Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and / or counter ticket.
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
- Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
Verify parts and service invoices to batch posting report must account for all invoices closed from the prior day.
- Process internal orders daily.
- Guarantee all checks in accordance with the company policy.
- Promptly and efficiently answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner.
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
- Scan all documents into PDF format for file storage
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Filing as needed (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, Car Deal Files, Hard Copies)
- Perform any other special duties as requested by Dealer and other Managers.

- Regular attendance consistent with attendance policy.
- Hours 11AM- 8PM Monday thru Thursday and 8AM - 5PM Saturday.

Front Desk Duties :
