We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk for our Title Company and Law firm on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization.
You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner while streamlining office operations.
Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.

Clerical/Receptionist
He or she will be responsible for processing and responding to incoming mail, faxes, calls and emails that come from the general public, charging parties, charging party’s attorneys, and respondents.
The contract clerk will provide customer service to the public. For example, he or she will assist callers with how to use our public portal to file a charge of discrimination with the HDO.
Furthermore, the contract clerk will help potential charging parties schedule appointments with investigators / ISAs by utilizing the scheduling tool and Outlook.
He or she will be responsible for : answering any questions that callers to the office may have, educating the public about the laws enforced by the EEOC, promptly transferring calls to employees, and giving referrals to the public.
The hours of work will be between 32-40 hours per week. We are currently working 2 days in the office and the rest are telework days.
Training will be provided.
We are willing to pay the going rate for a clerk / receptionist.
Accounts Receivable / Receptionist
Description
Objective of the position : Under supervision of Office Manager, performs a variety of position specific receptionist and accounting functions including, but not limited to : answering phones, greeting customers, apply payments to accounting system for all division accounts receivable open invoices, research and collection of any and all invoices past 30 days, immediately communicate all past due accounts to the Controller, process all documentation related to returned checks for all Louisiana markets (New Orleans Accounts Receivable Only).
Provide backup support for accounting department as assigned, including receptionist support.
Qualifications
Requirements (Include) :
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- High School Diploma or equivalent, undergraduate college degree preferred;
- Receptionist experience
- Accounts receivable experience;
- PC experience, with the ability to perform tasks on a computer;
- Highly professional and courteous, in appearance, conduct and manner, with ability to interface well with all levels of the organization;
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently and handle stress in a multi-tasking environment to ensure timely completion of duties;
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team;
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis, and ensures that work responsibilities are covered when absent;
- Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate.
