As a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM), Region Flexibility Programs, you will represent our Amazon Retail-Wide division, responsible for leading a global expansion engineering program which will enable Amazon businesses to leverage new AWS regions and improve the efficiency and scale of our business. The end-state architecture will enable services to break region coupling while retaining the ability to keep critical business functions within a region. This architecture will improve customer latency through local affinity to compute resources and reduce the blast radius in case of region failures.
We are looking for a passionate, deeply technical, and results-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define and drive Region Flexibility program, and drive fundamental architectural changes across the whole Amazon software stack. You will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmap, using Agile and incremental delivery methods.
