Job Summary :

The Department of Medical Social Sciences supports the National Institutes of Health’s state-of-the-science patient-reported outcomes measurement systems under the HealthMeasures umbrella.

The API Product Manager will work within the HealthMeasures team, a group of measurement scientists with expertise in the development, validation, expansion, assessment technologies, and implementation of patient-reported outcome measures.

The Assessment Center API integrates with data collection systems to administer HealthMeasures. This position will appeal to candidates with experience in digital health technology.

The API Product Manager is responsible for API product planning and execution, including overseeing client communication, marketing, sales, and licensing of patient-reported outcome measures software and services.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the implementation of patient-reported outcome measures around the world and promote patient-centered care.

Specific Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning

  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmap.
  • Manages the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring / controlling and closing of Information Technology (IT) and related virtual and physical infrastructure projects in support of organizational area's strategic objectives and ongoing operations.
  • Collaborates with project leadership to determine and document project objectives, scope, approach, resource requirements, budget, metrics, key performance indicators and stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with project leadership to define project tasks, milestones, and deliverables that meet stated project objectives and conform to initiative methodology standards.
  • Collaborates with organizational leadership and works closely across HealthMeasures teams to ensure goals and objectives are met.
  • Contribute to budget planning and quarterly financial reporting.

Administration

  • Prepares and presents comprehensive project scope and definition documents.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules, and ensures appropriate planning measures are taken including adjusting assignments as necessary to accommodate new issues, scope changes, new work estimates and / or resource availability constraints.
  • Maintains and analyzes actual costs, time and scope to ensure delivery against the plan.
  • Analyzes short- and long-term resource needs and recommends and / or adjusts staffing and resources appropriately.
  • Monitors and communicates progress, revising task timelines and effort estimates based on project team members task-specific status updates.
  • Develops communication plan for key messages, project updates, and key decisions that will be used throughout the project.
  • Maintains website text relevant to HealthMeasures software and electronic implementation of patient-reported outcomes.
  • Manages services related to electronic implementation of patient-reported outcome measures.

Development

  • Oversees good software development and project management practices for each of the project teams.
  • Coordinates with technology team in preparation of patient-reported outcome measure software.
  • Communicates and promulgates software development tracking standards and project management procedures to project team members.
  • Works with technical lead to specify quality control and assurance processes that will ensure the overall quality and continual improvement of the project deliverables.

Performance

  • Develops and maintains risk analyses process, risk mitigation strategy process, and issue logs for the project.
  • Manage client relationships and associated communication related to software sales, licenses, product requests, product releases and use of patient-reported outcome measures
  • Manage protocols, documentation, and execution of licensing and invoicing for software and services.
  • Manage marketing materials and activities, including conferences to promote HealthMeasures products and services

Supervises

  • Provides work direction and / or supervises staff such as team members, subordinates, contractors, vendors, students, etc.
  • Recommends staff hires / terminations.
  • Coaches and mentors staff.
  • Manages projects ensuring timelines and deliverables are met and meet expectations.

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree;

OR appropriate combination of education and experience.

Position Overview

As a Project Manager, Renewable Project Management, you will provide technical guidance to business development efforts from development through construction for renewable energy projects, particularly for onshore wind projects in Quebec.

You will be responsible for managing projects from advanced development through construction to achieve commercial operation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor construction activities for multiple project sites.
