Temporary Job Description :

The Evening & Weekend Program Assistant role is a highly visible, critical role that serves as the front line for a very busy MBA Program Office.

This position provides high-level administrative support and world-class client relations to faculty, students, staff and visitors and is a key member of the Student Experience Team.

The Administrative Assistant will be highly engaged with current students and faculty through phone inquiries and in person interactions at the front desk.

This person will provide a variety of specialized administrative support, coordination and project management of a variety of administrative process and logistics associated with special events, expenses, calendar management and travel arrangements.

This team member must have a great attitude, demonstrate initiative, possess a strong work ethic, is solution oriented, collaborative, and coachable, excel in a fast paced team environment.

Description of team / unit

The THRIVE Center within ISGMH conducts cutting-edge translational research that spans the spectrum from basic science discovery to intervention development and implementation.

Its faculty and staff are national leaders in research on SGM adolescent and young adult sexual health and HIV / STI prevention, bisexual health, queer women’s health, alcohol and drug use, mental health, and romantic relationships and intimate partner violence, and implementation science.

The Research Data Analyst will be part of the Data Management and Analytics Core (DMAC) which is responsible for data lifecycle management of all of THRIVE’s research projects.

Description of the role

The Research Data Analyst will work across multiple social, behavioral, and epidemiologic research projects focused on implementation science, HIV prevention and treatment, and sexual / gender minority health.

They will work closely with investigators and other study personnel to design and implement data collection, management, cleaning, and analytic strategies that align with research objectives.

Provides expertise in data management, quality assurance, analysis and reporting. Establishes data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems.

Performs data analysis using statistical techniques. Researches and analyzes information using multiple databases and creates reports of data and results.

Assists in the preparation and delivery of decision support reports to both internal and external customers. Designs data collection tools, performs data storage and de-identification procedures in accordance with institutional and national policies, assists with establishing, maintaining and sharing research data, and aids in research dissemination.

Expectations of the role

The Research Data Analyst is expected to be self-driven, detailed oriented, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, have the ability to work independently and have an interest and desire to develop new skills.

This role is expected to last until June 30, 2024, with the possibility of extension. This is a grant-funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant.

Both in-person and fully remote work arrangements will be considered.

Specific Responsibilities :

Administration

  • Develop standardized templates, policies, and procedures for internal and external reporting.

Coordination

  • Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) and prepare itineraries with the ability to anticipate travel obstacles.

The Department of Medical Social Sciences supports the National Institutes of Health’s state-of-the-science patient-reported outcomes measurement systems under the HealthMeasures umbrella.

The API Product Manager will work within the HealthMeasures team, a group of measurement scientists with expertise in the development, validation, expansion, assessment technologies, and implementation of patient-reported outcome measures.

The Assessment Center API integrates with data collection systems to administer HealthMeasures. This position will appeal to candidates with experience in digital health technology.

The API Product Manager is responsible for API product planning and execution, including overseeing client communication, marketing, sales, and licensing of patient-reported outcome measures software and services.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the implementation of patient-reported outcome measures around the world and promote patient-centered care.

Specific Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning

  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmap.
  • Manages the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring / controlling and closing of Information Technology (IT) and related virtual and physical infrastructure projects in support of organizational area's strategic objectives and ongoing operations.
  • Collaborates with project leadership to determine and document project objectives, scope, approach, resource requirements, budget, metrics, key performance indicators and stakeholders.

Job Summary :

The Clinical Specialist will function as part of the Therapeutic Residential Performance Management Initiative (TRPMI) Team to assess, develop quality improvement (QI) plans, and provide technical assistance (TA) regarding clinical treatment approaches in residential treatment.

Additionally, the Clinical Specialist will provide input and recommendations regarding treatment interventions for individual youth, working with residential providers across Northern Counties (Lake and northern Cook counties).

This staff candidate will report to the TRPMI Team Coordinator with matrix supervision to DCFS, UIC, and / or NU as indicated.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Assess implementation of effective program-wide trauma informed interventions for assigned therapeutic residential providers.
  • Identify areas in need of improvement / development with respect to provision of clinical services in assigned therapeutic residential programs.
  • Provide training to staff from assigned therapeutic residential provider programs.
  • Conduct on-site milieu observations.
  • Consult with Monitors in the TRPMI Teams and identify areas to prioritize during on-site observations, meetings and site visits.
  • Attend therapeutic residential provider meetings, staffings, and training sessions.
  • Provide consultation regarding individual youth in treatment with assigned providers.
  • Attend TRPMI planning meetings regarding therapeutic residential provider assessment, QI planning and monitoring planning.
  • Review data with respect to assigned therapeutic residential provider functioning / outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Conduct assessments and administer clinical tools.

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related field.
  • At least two years of experience in child welfare
  • Experience working in a residential treatment setting, psychiatric hospital, group home, or other site with child & adolescent milieu.
  • Training in evidence-based and evidence-informed trauma care and service delivery.

Minimum Competencies : (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.)

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Licensure in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related field
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively with TRPMI teams.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Able to travel within the region to all locations as required. (Mileage reimbursement provided.)
  • Must be able to work flexible / non-traditional hours (i.e. evenings, weekends, early mornings.)
  • Experience administering the Child and Adolescent Services Intensity Instrument (CASII) preferred
