POSITION SUMMARY
Provide project management function as part of Large Project Team. Position will focus on providing Project Management support for large national account.
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated large-scale projects. May be overseeing a single or multiple projects as the situation allows.
Will be responsible for ensuring the goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and profitability by performing the following duties, personally and through assigned Field Engineers and Technicians.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Confers with Service Center Manager or Region Director to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for assignment of project personnel with SCM / RD.
- Reviews status reports and other documentation prepared by project personnel, clients and other contractors and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Prepares and presents project reports for management, client, or others. Works with SCM / RD to gather and develop back-up material for change order requests.
- Coordinates project activities with clients and other contractors (as required).
- Develops large-scale project management processes and routines for use throughout the Company.
- Mentors’ junior personnel and teaches good project management practices

What you’ll do :
- Provide project management coordination and support for large and complex wind, solar, and storage projects during the pre-construction phase of the project.
- Responsible for the supporting request for proposal (RFP) process for engineering, procurement and construction services.
- Responsible for supporting contracting negotiation process.
- Support pre-construction activity including site studies, surveys, preliminary engineering, and estimating.
- Support internal project capital expenditure approval processes to secure budget for Project Delivery scope.
- Coordinate and support internal stakeholders including development, commercial, and origination teams with information requests and modeling efforts.
- Coordinate and manage key project stakeholders including Balance of Plant (BOP) Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor.
- Manage equipment procurement as related to the Production Tax Credit (PTC) and Investment Tax Credit (ITC).
- Participate in the negotiation of key project contracts including Major Equipment Supply Agreements and BOP-EPC Agreement.
- Work with the Manager of Pre-Construction and other project stakeholders to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking to plan.
- Assess project risk and maintain project Risk Register during preconstruction phase.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all parties involved in the development of the wind project.
What you bring :
- 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of technical training.
- Combined 5 years of project management (preferably in utility scale renewable energy) and / or heavy construction management experience.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with various project & construction management software tools, e.g., Procore.
- Demonstrated ability to be organized and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong Microsoft Software Applications skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).

In this role, the Hydro Services Project Manager will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources with the support of the Services Field Reliability and Operations Engineer, Field Operations Leader, Planner and Buyer.

Summary of Position
Perform project management activities for hazardous waste and environmental consulting projects. - 40-hour HAZWOPER with current 8-hour refresher, and supervisor training
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license, a clean driving record, and be willing to travel as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screen and background check
- Ability to obtain security clearance as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- USACE Construction Quality Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge / experience with PFOS / PFOA sampling
- Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain
- 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety
