SHEIN Distribution is here and we’re looking to have a Production Coordinator join our fast-growing Buying team! The Production Coordinator will be experienced in working in Women’s Apparel, keep up with current trends, follow trend setting labels and brands.

The Production Coordinator is also responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, coordinate photoshoots, processing purchase orders, verifying delivered items, and organizing sample rooms.

Will be working with a fast-growing team and collaborate with our creative team providing hands on experience.

Responsibilities :

• Working with the buyers and help run the Purchasing department
• Help oversee the pre-production and post-production processes
• Assist with the management of the quality control assessment
• Work with product development and collaborate with creatives
• Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency
• Communicate daily with overseas offices and vendors to track development and production statuses
• Coordinate photoshoot samples with creative teams
• Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities
• Signing and reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts
• Using quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management

Production Technician (Bayport))

• Fully supports operations of gas turbine generators, water treatment equipment, waste effluent treatment and high pressure steam production.
• Accurately completes production records, maintains, and conforms to corporate Health, Safety and Environmental policies / procedures and relevant documentation at the facility.
• Demonstrates identified skill sets in daily operational duties in monitoring operating performance and reporting to management in timely manner.

• Participates in operational / routine maintenance tasks within facility work group without interruption of customer product deliveries.

• Assists / works closely with shift leader and manager with daily facility needs.

Position Requirements :

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related industrial operations or maintenance experience or completion of a 2 year Process Technology Degree
• Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
• Overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, company safety policies / procedures.
• Performs all work in compliance with standard operating / maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Saving Rules, Safe Start and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation, IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc.
• Acquiring knowledge / ability in all plant operations including processes / equipment.
• Exhibits understanding of governmental regulations including environmental permitting / compliance, loading / quality assurance, basic electricity, national / local operating procedures, CMMS, maintenance management process, all HSE issues associated with the facility.
• Exhibits mechanical ability.
• Ability to learn / follow national / local standard operating procedures; follow through on instructions; work with minimal supervision;

read / interpret blueprints, flow charts, process piping ISOs, simple schematics, P and IDs, electrical schematics.

• Perform basic math operations.
• Basic knowledge / understanding of control board, operating off of operator interface consoles (computer).
• Basic computer (PC) skills; ability to use required software computer applications.
• Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes / boots, FRC clothing.

About the Role :

Join our growing team! As the Production Supervisor, you are responsible for leading, guiding and directing employees in a safe and efficient direction.

You will assist the Plant Manager with all building and production duties and ensure that areas in Production and the Plant are running smoothly and have quantity and quality goals.

Estimated Salary : $70,000 to $85,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.

• Responsible for supervising the remanufacturing process of washers & dryers
• Works with Production Manager to establish certified rebuilt standards for all equipment
• Assists Production Manager to establish & maintain equipment production goals
• Maintains quality control program to insure proper operation of all remanufactured equipment
• Monitors employee schedules, job assignments & workstation scheduling to meet the demand of all new & rebuilt equipment orders
• Assists all work stations with assembly line exceptions and / or problematic machines

• Employee communications : explains job expectations, provides coaching, training and counseling to all production employees
• Holds biweekly team meetings to discuss company policies, procedures, and any operational challenges for workable solutions

• Promotes a continuous improvement culture. Reviews production procedures, recommends measures to improve working conditions, work station processes, and the use of all tools and / or equipment
• Reviews and appraises employee performance
• Reviews all company safety policies with employees. Enforces safety guidelines, regulations, and company standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 3 years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
