THE ROLE :
Plan and coordinate various aspects of live events at our venues in the Greater Boston area. As a runner, you will assist in fulfilling the needs of the production department which most commonly includes running errands under the direction of the venue or tour production managers.
Confidentiality is critical to this role.
Several responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Transportation of crew safely to and from airports, hotels, stores, etc before, during and after shows
Purchasing various products / materials required at local stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Walmart, Wholefoods, Guitar Center etc.)
Facilitating crew meal orders with local restaurants
Coordinating laundry pickups with the tour at approved vendors
Maintaining cash and receipts throughout the day
Providing local area information to touring personnel
Miscellaneous work on an as needed basis
Assist the Venue and Touring Production Team as needed
The interview process will begin in early April with an estimated start date of May 1st 2023.
Personal Requirements :
Good driving record and fully insured with active Driver’s License.
At least 21 years of age.
Personal vehicles are not required, but strongly encouraged.
Experience in or willingness to drive a passenger van is encouraged, but not required.
Must have a working mobile phone.
Must be highly flexible and have the ability to work long hours.
Knowledge of Boston, Worcester, Manchester, NH and surrounding areas including restaurants and local stores.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and possess problem solving abilities.
Must be reliable, extremely responsible and have a positive attitude.
Must show complete discretion about work.
Background check required.
COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
Qualifications :
Requires a high school diploma / GED.
Experience in audio / video, events and live production is preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate both in written and verbal form in English.
Ability to use standard office equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Apple Products.

Kitchen Production Assistant
Seeking a production assistant for a small but thriving kitchen with expanding demands. Hours : Full-Time; Flexible.
Daily duties may include :
- Inventory and re-stock of prepared foods
- Producing sauces and dips in our refrigerated grab and go retail case
- Producing in high volume staple house made snacks such as pita chips and crostini
- Creating an assortment of green and deli salads for our lunch service
Examples of production tasks include :
- Basic prep (breaking down produce, cutting onions etc.)
- Following recipes to create basic sauces, dips and salads

- Solid knife skills are a plus.

The Boston Conservatory at Berklee seeks production technicians and costumers to work on our Theater, Dance, Opera and Music events.

Production Supervisor
Description
The role of the Supervisor is to supervise the production line workers. They are responsible for the routine communication of job assignments, training for specific product runs, and placement of Line Workers in assignments as required for the day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Before shift starts physically and visually inspect the assigned work area for any safety hazards.
- During shift operations continuously observe for safety hazards.
- Be observant for employee safety in addition to GMP compliance and make immediate corrections to GMP discrepancies as needed and report them to the supervisor / manager.
- Responsible to ensure safety to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and put safety and food quality first.
- Verify components on work order to ensure correct number of components are available for production.
- Ensure all employees abide by the safety regulations.
- Ensure that all employees are wearing their PPE.
- Ensure that all employees are filling out their Safety Cards
- Responsible to always keep line clean of any debris.
- Assign work to Line Workers
- Train Line Workers how to meet the daily productions goals.
- Update production metrics on hourly production whiteboard
- Ensure paperwork for skid tickets, line checks, and quality checks are being conducted.
- Contact Indirect Labor Material Handler to bring additional components for production line as needed.
- Instruct Material Handler (direct labor), Line Workers, and sanitation crew to clean up production line waste during production and when production is complete.
- Escalate production issues to Production Manager as needed.
- Perform quality checks of the line.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following :
- Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
- Must possess excellent written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Should be goal oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to work well under pressure and succeed within a competitive environment.
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative.
- Strong computer skills are necessary including Outlook.
- Must have the ability to look up standard Excel documents.
- Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
