Sous Chef Responsibilities :
The Sous Chef is a key part of the leadership team driving culinary excellence at Little Palm Island.
As Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in continuing to build and develop the team consisting of, Sous Chefs Pastry Chef, and 10-12 local and international line-level culinary associates (for whom employee housing is provided).
You will partner with our Executive Chef in menu development and maintaining the culture and vision of the culinary program.
Beyond that, you let your creative juices flow with specials, seasonal menus, Island buy-outs, Chef Tables in our state of the art, no expense spared, kitchen.

What it Takes to be the successful Sous Chef :
To be successful in the role as Sous Chef you bring experience leading a culinary team in a fine dining restaurant or luxury, boutique hotel with a top-notch exclusive restaurant (think Relais & Chateaux).
Other experience such as a degree from an accredited culinary institute will be highly regarded.
Naturally, you have the drive to exceed expectations for this iconic location. This will come with your innate ability to handle the ups, downs and sometimes long hours of a world class kitchen and the leadership skills to develop and inspire a culinary team.

Executive Chef - Private Day School
SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Talented HANDS ON Executive Chef for a private day school in Coral Gables. This Executive Chef will be responsible for high volume production and amazing catering events.
The Executive Chef will develop strong relationships with the community, design and produce menus that will create excitement, plan and execute catering events, manage ordering and inventory, and develop our amazing kitchen team.

- Travel required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
- Associates or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field desired but not required. Some of our best investigators come from the security, loss prevention and law enforcement fields.
- We will look at experience in lieu of formal education, and also consider those looking for a career change completely! What we ultimately look for are people who have a desire to succeed and want to be a part of a great team.
We'll teach the right person!
- Ability to be properly licensed as required by the state in which you currently reside
- Private Investigator's license required in the following states prior to applying : Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, Utah, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Maine, and Virginia
- Georgia applicants must independently complete the 70-hour course necessary to receive a Private Investigator's license prior to applying
