Purpose of Position

The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record on each and every flight.

The Pilot is the face of NetJets, providing not only technically accurate and safe transportation, but also an exceptional service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacture's (OEM) Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).

Greets Owners / passengers pre-flight, makes introductions and briefs them on the specific flight / trip and verifies itinerary / provides passengers with weather updates and safety briefings and explains any changes to itinerary

  • Must deliver as needed, in-flight service including the handling of alcohol and the service of catering
  • Must load and properly stow on aircraft all baggage as needed
  • Must be able to handle and conduct flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke
  • Act as the final authority on their aircraft with respect to all areas of operation, including the compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance
  • Acts as a liaison for Owners / passengers and NetJets from the time the Owners / passengers arrive at the FBO until they have safely landed at their final destination and have departed the final FBO
  • Responsible for properly communicating any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the aircraft Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller on duty for their fleet
  • Additionally, must properly complete any paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies
  • Other duties as assigned depending on assignment

JOB SUMMARY :

Provide on-site flight support for owners under the ProOwnership management agreement. Crews will reside within a reasonable distance from the managed aircraft and perform day-to-day flight activities, including scheduling, trip planning, and aircraft care.

Crews will work directly with the Manager, ProOwnership Maintenance to ensure maintenance compliance and airworthiness. They will also work closely with the Manager, ProOwnership Operations to ensure customer requests are fulfilled to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction with the ownership experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Enhances ownership experience by providing product expertise on Citation and King Air systems, avionics and flying characteristics.

Consistently communicates product and ownership benefits during flight activities.

Acts as a company liaison between the owner and Textron Aviation to ensure that the concerns of all parties are fairly represented.

Although crew is employed by Textron Aviation, the pilot will operate under an agency agreement that clearly defines operational control of the Owner.

The designated lead pilot will serve as the primary point of contact for all issues relating to the remotely based flight operation.

  • Clearly and effectively communicates with the owner regarding Pilot-In-Command responsibilities, standards of safe operations, and efficient methods of aircraft utilization.
  • Possesses a solution-driven mindset and willingness to explore all avenues on the path to resolution.
  • Performs preflight and post flight inspections to evaluate aircraft flown for mechanical and cosmetic discrepancies and accurately communicates with the Maintenance Manager and the applicable Service Center to maintain the highest possible standards of quality and safety.
  • Works with the maintenance manager to ensure that aircraft flown are scheduled for required inspections. Ensures that the aircraft are certified to MNPS / RVSM / RNP Standards to meet all travel requirements, both domestic and international.
  • Works with the account manager to understand and provide input to the aircraft flight schedule while continuously monitoring flight activities to ensure flights are conducted within the guidelines set forth in the operations manual such as crew duty limits and rest requirements, runway lengths and weather minimums.

Will warrant that safety of operations is paramount with each flight.

  • Maintains familiarity with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations. Complies with all regulations and local operating procedures.
  • Ensures training and flight currency for all phases of operations. Informs the Chief Pilot or Manager, Aircraft Management when any currency is approaching expiration.
  • Attends training as required. Training will include : Initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures training, crew coordination training, international procedures training and other training as deemed necessary by management.
  • Performs vital day-to-day department management duties such as maintaining aircraft flight logs, updating aircraft navigation equipment, obtaining current electronic and hard-copy documents required for flight, and performing store room duties and light aircraft cleaning.
  • Responsible for coordinating vacation requests with the account manager assigned to the owner.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Management or Aerospace related fields.
  • In lieu of degree, must meet the qualifications below and a minimum of 3 years industry experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ability to obtain a valid US passport
  • Ability to obtain a FAA First Class medical

Arch Aerial LLC is seeking a highly motivated Junior UAS Pilot (Drone Pilot) to create and collect both captivating content and high utility industrial inspection data (for our construction and energy service lines).

This is a full time hourly position which can expect 35-45 hours per week.

Functions & Responsibilities

Execute scheduled UAS (unmanned aerial systems) missions for Arch Aerial LLC, primarily in industrial settings. Duties and responsibilities include execution of UAS flights, data management, and data transfer.

Must be familiar with multi-rotor UAS operation; fixed wing UAS operational experience is a plus. As this is an entry level Junior UAS Pilot role, previous professional UAS Pilot experience is not required, but is highly recommended.

Whether a candidate has previous professional UAS Piloting experience or not, training will be conducted by Arch Aerial on Arch Aerial piloting, process, safety, and technical skills for all new hires.

Workload will consist of roughly 35 - 45 hours of operation per week, with opportunities for overtime beyond 40 hours per week.

Travel is to be expected, and candidates should understand that duties are often performed outside in Gulf Coast and Southwest climates which include hot and humid conditions.

Additional opportunities for piloting work both inside and outside of the Greater Houston area will become available from time-to-time.
