Job Description

The staff Physical Therapist PT evaluates client after impairment injury or disease plans designs and implements individualized physical therapy treatment programs after referral from a physician.

Interventions may include therapeutic exercise manual therapy functional retraining use of thermal electrical modalities gait training and use of various other training and retraining skills.

Periodically re evaluates client to determine effectiveness of interventions and contributes to discharge planning. The PT supervises treatment provided by physical therapist assistants and recommends client care interventions to other members of the health care team to contribute to the clients rehabilitation process.

The PT delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided and performs other duties as requested by the manager
