Job Description
The staff Occupational Therapist OT evaluates client after impairment injury or disease plans designs and implements individualized occupational therapy treatment programs after referral from a physician.
Interventions may include therapeutic exercise functional retraining use of thermal electrical modalities splinting and use of various other training and retraining skills.
Periodically reevaluates client to determine effectiveness of interventions and contributes to discharge planning. The OT supervises treatment provided by students technicians or assistants and recommends client care interventions to other members of the health care team to contribute to the clients rehabilitation process.
The OT delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided and performs other duties as requested by the manager

Social worker
Job Description
Provides social work services to patients in an acute care setting for patients with acute, chronic or terminal illnesses and their families.
Services to patients and their families include : identification of psychosocial needs, psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, crisis intervention, information and referrals, protective services, and patient / family education.
A Social Worker functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team for patient care. Duties may also include assistance with program development, evaluation, professional education, or supervision of students and BSW staff.
- Master’s degree in social work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Knowledge of theory and practice of social work at the MSW level and have basic research skills
- Must have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and with patients of various ages and cultural backgrounds
- Must have excellent written / verbal communication skills
EXPERIENCE : Prefer prior experience in a healthcare setting (i.e., hospital, home health or nursing home) but not required.
SPECIAL SKILLS : Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
OTHER : Computer skills, Basic typing skills
EDUCATION : Required :
- Certified LMSW or LCSW
- Missouri (Kansas) Social Work license
- Master's Degree in Social Work

Our ENT clinic at the Plaza is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team! The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport with patients and identify their needs in collaboration with the nursing and provider team members.
You must have excellent phone and computer skills, be a strong team player, and able to adapt to change with ease. This position will be 80% direct patient care, 20% other duties (phones, chart prep, stocking rooms, cleaning / sterilizing equipment).

The Work :
Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals
Phlebotomy
Administer injections and coordinate vaccines
Assist providers with procedures
Utilize the EMR system and scan / download documents
Conduct telephone screening (with protocols)
Cover front office responsibilities as needed
Travel between St. Luke's ENT Clinics may be required.
In this position you will have the opportunity to make a difference in our patients’ clinic experience so we are looking for someone that has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and is eager to be a team player.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced or entry level Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), an experienced or entry level Medical Assistant or even someone interested in becoming a medical assistant and providing patient care.
Those candidates that are not certified or that do not have applicable experience will receive 10 weeks of on the job training to learn the position.
