Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a full time licensed PTA to join our well-established and growing physical therapy practice in our North Hills office located in McCandless.

Aquatic and Fall Prevention experience a plus!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Adhere to a full time weekly work schedule of 40 hours in our North Hills office
  • Primary responsibility will be to assist the PT in carrying out an Aquatic and Fall Prevention Program.
  • Implementing treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Assisting the PT in carrying out the following therapeutic interventions designed to meet the patients' long-term goals : Posture training, strengthening exercise, endurance / cardiac training, balance exercises, coordination exercises, joint mobility and muscle lengthening, pain relief, functional skills training and community re-entry training.
  • Ordering and instructing patients in the use of prescribed equipment.
  • Prepare daily clinical notes and routine progress reports. Proficient with EMR.
  • Instruct patients and family regarding in-home exercise programs and activities of daily living.
  • Maintain professional growth and development, by participating in continuing education programs, and other approved learning experiences.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all medical record, facility and rehab related information.
  • Maintains accurate billing information in accordance with facility procedures daily.
  • Complies with the documentation requirements of the rehab department and facility.
  • Assist with staff / family training and education when appropriate by formal and informal in-services as well as consultations.
  • Reviews and adheres to the policies and procedures outlined by the facility and Tri-State Physical Therapy.
