Role Summary :

Overview

Position Summary-

Louisville Tile of Nashville is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our Nashville market. The Account Executive / Dealer is an outside sales position.

This role is responsible for creating, executing, and tracking a result oriented strategic sales plan that will develop a geographic territory within the Residential / Dealer market and Builder Channel.

The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying potential customers within a market, and will prospect, profile, cultivate, and close new clients that meet Louisville Tile standards and criteria.

The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving target metrics in terms of activity, sales production, product diversification and penetration, customer service, and gross profit in order to achieve the company's sales targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Identify qualified prospects
  • Profile prospects to identify need
  • Ability to problem solve and sell consultatively
  • Manage a pipeline to successful closing
  • Ability to price and sell within Gross Profit targets
  • Proactive tracking of projects from bidding to close
  • Service existing customers
  • Balance between new business development and service of existing customers
  • Work on special initiatives as assigned or needed to meet corporate goals
  • Ability to be decisive and manage a book to highest payoff priorities
  • Work to a plan that is strategic, constantly reviewed and evolving, and hit goal
  • Ability to develop a niche channel and cultivate relationships
  • Be involved with the commercial quoting process
  • Monitoring order register and managing projects with long lead times
  • Periodic market analysis of competition to create deeper penetration of Contractor market
  • Education to ensure that you are the most knowledgeable and highly proficient technically
  • Utilize the CRM and make constant contact to cultivate clients and build brand
  • Work collaboratively with A&D, Contractor / Dealer reps, showroom reps and all others in our system in order to service customers and leverage results
  • Follow up on orders, requests and prospects to ensure maximum results
