- Perform Receiving Inspection activity using sampling plans and metrology equipment, such as CMMs, Romer Arms, micrometers, calipers, height gages, calipers, micrometers, gages, etc..
- Report nonconformances when defective material is found.
- Develop and lead 5S activities around the Quality area(s) to ensure efficient working areas.
- Read Inspection Plans and Work Instructions to perform quality inspections
- Interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to the ASME Y14.5 standard to GD&T
- Perform Critical in-process and final inspections for assembled product.
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to the requirements of AS9102
- Develop Standard Operator Procedures (SOPs) for other inspectors to follow for day-to-day tasks.

- Prepares and operates High Pressure Water Jet to process/produce high quality products.
- Responsible for operation, loading and unloading material and parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
- Make necessary adjustments to offsets and maintain part quality throughout the run.
- Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of productions. Reports all machine malfunctions to Management.
- Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
- Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
- Experience with a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steels, titanium and nickel based alloys) a plus
