Responsibilities

Monitors patient vital signs

Implements orders for diagnostic lab tests according to site policy and The Joint Commission and ACA standards

Maintains inventory of supplies

Assists the RN or LVN as needed in the medical unit within scope of practice

Maintains confidentiality of medical records

Documents in SOAP format all health-related encounters for patients

Records EKGs as directed by nurse

Responsibilities

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with an assigned physician on a daily basis
  • Escort patients to the exam room
  • Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs
