This position is responsible for implementing strategic marketing programs for the property by overseeing and managing all aspects of the marketing department;

  • Creating effective advertising strategies that promote individual departments as appropriate for casino demographics.
  • Ability to support annual marketing budget and ensure yearly promotions are scheduled in advance to keep expenses inline.
  • Keep abreast of the competition; promotions and marketing to maintain a strong competitive edge.
  • Creates regularly scheduled data maintenance programs to include appropriate staff members are trained to enter data using proper protocol and prepare required reports.

Requests and reviews data files to ensure clean mailing lists.

  • Evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategies for competitive conditions.
  • Evaluate post-forma promotion reports with ability to break down and evaluate marketing promotion information and understand / explain why it was successful and / or unsuccessful.
  • Responsible for marketing department staff, hires, trains, disciplines and coaches marketing staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Oversees design, copy production and placement of print, radio and billboard advertising.
  • Reviews analysis and data to ensure that the marketing strategy / business plan is being followed.
  • Communicates all marketing promotional advertising media to all internal and external parties.
  • Must work together as a team with other marketing personnel.
  • Attends all company required training.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines.

Education / Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and 7-10 years’ casino in a senior marketing position with direct responsibility for revenue generation, advertising, branding, social media and staff management.
  • Ability to analyze competitive information and internal financial information, and develop plans with measurable results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Language Skills :

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and / or interpret simple sentences in English.
  • Must be able to communicate well with written and oral reports.

Mathematical Skills :

Must have good analytical skills; proficient with formulas and algebraic problems.

Interpersonal Skills :

  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
