Marcum LLP is seeking a full-time Marketing Associate with knowledge of professional services for the Firm’s Southern Florida region, supporting both regional and industry marketing initiatives.
The position requires an individual with a desire to perform a variety of marketing functions including business development, event planning, proposal process, and project management.
This role allows for a hybrid work arrangement but requires a physical location in the South Florida region.
Primary responsibilities include
- Coordinating the generation, editing, and publication of marketing content including blog posts, e-newsletters, website updates, and social media posts
- Assisting in the development of presentations, proposals, and other collateral
- Facilitating sponsorships; this includes ensuring payments are processed and requirements are submitted in accordance with deadlines
- Conducting prospect and market research
- Planning and executing virtual events, including the creation of registration pages, build-out of the event site (On24 platform), and processing CPE certificates
- Assisting in the preparation, logistics, and onsite support of events
- Ensuring brand assets are compliant and consistent, and acting as a brand ambassador
- Other special projects, as assigned
Education and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or relevant field
- 1 year of full-time experience (or 2+ years of internship) in marketing, preferably B2B
Ideal candidate qualities
- Collaborative individual with a natural client service orientation and can-do attitude
- Exceptional communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project manager who can stay organized and ensure accuracy of details while managing concurrent projects with strict and often competing deadlines
- Proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and willingness to learn other technical platforms including HubSpot, Salesforce and On24
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position including the ability to lift and handle up to 25 pounds of materials, bend, stoop and stretch as required for placement and retrieval of materials or equipment on shelving
