This person will oversee opportunity and client management, as well as local marketing operations, working closely with the Area Manager, Regional Marketing Director, Client Service Managers (CSMs), and marketing team.

Detailed Description :

The Area Marketing Lead will lead the implementation of standard processes, systems, and techniques that contribute to successful and efficient sales / marketing efforts.

The Area Marketing Lead plays a key role in helping to advance key clients and pursuits, as well as contributing to action planning, strategy development, and participating in regional growth initiatives to win new work and grow new and existing services.

  • The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and a strategic thinker, offering creative and effective solutions in focused and efficient client development;
  • competitive, persuasive, and winning proposals; efficient and effective maintenance of overall sales / marketing information;

and leadership of company / Area growth initiatives. Duties include :

  • Client Development : Works with CSMs and teams to ensure overall client development action plans are created, executed, and updated.
  • Proposal / Presentation Development : Leads sales and marketing process to prioritize and position for multiple concurrent pursuits.

The process includes managing and assisting directly with strategy development, writing, formatting, and editing / review to ensure persuasive messages and production.

Facilitates process and provides input to Go / No Go decisions.

  • Annual SOQ Leadership : Leads preparation for and implementation of Hawaii’s annual SOQ process to submit multiple annual SOQs between February and June of each year.
  • Growth Initiatives and Business Development : Works with key business leaders and marketing staff to implement company and regional growth initiatives, and contributes to company marketing process improvements, event planning, and branding.

Provides event planning support for priority conferences. Coordinates with marketing communications professionals on branding initiatives.

  • Sales Reporting : Assesses key metrics at the office level, reporting trends and results against goals, as well as supporting business planning efforts.
  • Maintenance of Marketing Information : Leads team in updating, creating, and maintaining all regularly used proposal and SOQ information.

Uses systems and tools to share debrief information and best products.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree (Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing preferred) with 6+ years of experience in a related role.

Experience in the engineering, environmental, architectural, and / or construction field is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on superior persuasive writing and presentation ability.

Experience coaching others in interviews / presentations is preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadline situations.
  • Highly skilled in persuasive writing and graphic presentation.
  • Ability to identify key issues and patterns from partial / conflicting data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • InDesign experience preferred.

Salary Range : The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending on skills, experience, and education.

These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A : $68,000 - $92,000

Location B : $75,000 - $102,000

JOB SUMMARY : The marketing manager is responsible for the design and execution of the division's marketing plan. Working with the sales team, this position will be responsible for community specific marketing initiatives that will ultimately drive increased traffic, resulting in higher sales volume.

Education :

Dewberry is currently seeking a Marketing Intern in our Raleigh, NC office for Summer 2024 . This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to learn from a team of outstanding professionals.

Under the Marketing Manager, the intern will support the Marketing Department with a variety of tasks to meet the marketing goals of the region.

The intern requires a range of practical and people skills, as well as knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.

The position will support promotional and proposal efforts and will involve a variety of tasks such as : coordinate, research, compose and work with graphics, photos, and videos in the preparation of marketing material and activities.

It will also include input of information to databases and other reports.

Local candidates preferred, no housing stipend will be provided.
