This leader is a research and data analytics expert with a keen understanding of business intelligence, customer needs & psychological drivers, and competitive landscapes. Research: The incumbent will lead the marketing research initiatives for Kuiper Marketing, and will monitor competitive activity, trends, and developments. They will partner with (Business Operations) BizOps team members to synthesize the outputs of research projects and deliver insights on strategic initiatives. They will also keep line of sight for all of BizOps’ research activities to ensure alignment, potential coordination, and reporting.

Key job responsibilities
Analytics: The person in this role will provide insightful recommendations to the marketing team’s approach to leveraging marketing data, insights, advertising & campaign KPIs, and brand metrics to drive consumer behavior, and to inspire campaign strategy. The position will work with the internal business operations team, and partner with other BizOps Teams, to calibrate our methodology for data-driven insights and outputs.

Key Responsibilities
• Establish and steward the development of the data intelligence discipline and eventual department within Kuiper Marketing.
• Lead Kuiper customer service plan consumer usage/engagement analysis which include monthly and quarterly reporting & marketing dashboards.
• Establish a baseline, and monitor Kuiper’s brand health.
• Provide comprehensive and valuable B2B/B2C/B2B2X customer insights to our internal partners.
• Key data stakeholder/decision maker specific to data related vendors (e.g., analytics, media, research, business intelligence), including budget recommendations, vendor selection, contract renewals, tool access/seat licenses, etc.
• Utilize Audience, Measurement/Business, Marketing and Advanced Analytics to deliver best in class data analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Contribute to Customer Growth (B2B/B2C/B2B2X) acquisition and retention plans through strategic and actionable inputs strengthening client relationship and satisfaction
• Use customer research and execution studies to assist lifecycle marketing activities to drive customer satisfaction.
• Provide digital channel performance recaps on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with key insights for the site, social, and key marketing channel performance. Includes generating insights to inform strategy and measure performance of marketing programs.
• Research the competitive landscape and identify gaps and needs for optimizations across the site and marketing channels.

We’re looking for an experienced product marketing leader who is equally entrepreneurial as creative. Someone who wants the thrill of autonomously influencing dozens of business stakeholders and decision-makers, in as many organizations. At Project Kuiper, the Enterprise Marketing team will define our end-to-end product go-to-market (GTM) strategy for multiple industries and segments to deliver outsized value for enterprise customers globally.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the global customer funnel, and the core connectivity products and services before the launch of a service. The Kuiper Marketing team will deliver everything from broad awareness and bold thought leadership to white glove executive programs in order to acquire and retain long term, high value customers.


Key job responsibilities
-Define a product marketing strategy where Kuiper Marketing and AWS will collaborate and leverage each business’ marketing channels to bring products to market, acquire, delight and retain customers.
-Work backwards from customers’ needs through 1st and 3rd party research to become the expert in B2B product messaging and positioning, pricing, as well as competitive and industry insights.
-Frequently write and update impactful, motivating product and solutions messaging, positioning, and narratives to be used across the acquisition journey.
-Build, measure and refine product and service launches leveraging external and Amazon owned and operated marketing channels to achieve highly qualified marketing leads.
-Autonomously build strong alliances across other Amazon enterprise focused businesses units in order to develop compelling joint GTM.
-Communicate regularly with executive leadership, business development and product management on audience insights, product marketing strategies, customer adoption progress, program execution and long-term planning.
-Partner with internal and external agencies and counterparts in brand, digital and event marketing to deliver against plans.
-Some travel is required for customer visits, demo’s, content development, training and trade shows.

The Worldwide Principal Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is a highly visible, high impact role on the Kuiper Enterprise Marketing team. This flexible leader will set the overall PMM strategy, balancing daily execution of writing, customer research, message testing, product reviews, GTM planning, content development and more, with the rapidly changing needs of a pre-launched portfolio of connectivity services. This person will thrive by working independently with large, cross functional teams inside and outside Amazon, while working directly with our largest and most exacting customers. This marketer will enjoy creating clarity and transparency in ambiguous situations, and the end-to-end ownership over product launch strategy and execution.
