Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop resources to effectively deliver revenue and product quality goals on a monthly basis with effective daily work practices and driving continuous improvement activities throughout the organization.
- Effective in managing in an ERP driven manufacturing environment for a mix of build to stock, assemble to order and build to order products.
- Experience with managing with KPIs and driving improvements using continuous improvement toolsets to drive root cause / corrective action activities in a team environment
- Experience with ASC606(cost to cost) revenue recognition standard.
- Critical team member for upcoming Oracle ERP conversion
- Support outsourcing of volume PCBA’s to low cost region to leverage internal capabilities for high mix / low volume for growing global customer base
- Analysis on current and future labor and absorption for NPD product intended for manufacturing at our main manufacturing facility.
- Support FG outsourcing programs in Ametek low cost region to expand manufacturing footprint in support of sales growth strategy.
- Manage the balance between product phase out to minimize E&O inventory
- Manage factory resources and capabilities to meet dynamic demand of run rate products and larger customer program needs.
- Standardize processes, systems, policies, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements and develop capital equipment strategies.
- Developing effective relationships with all functions within the organization.
- Developing an effective team through the selection, training, development, and motivation of all personnel.

JOB SUMMARY

Job Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows;
six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD.
May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Must demonstrate technical understanding of manufacturing, assembly and test concepts and practices, with the ability to schedule and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones.
- Must be customer focused and possess :
- The ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex matters of diverse scope and nature;
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including management;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees;
- The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information;
- The ability to represent the company on external projects; and
- The ability to handle common computer tasks.
- Preferred but not required, knowledge of microwave systems, RF test equipment, vacuum systems, and / or complex machinery is a plus.
