The maintenance trainer executes and maintains company-wide training programs as well as the maintenance of certification / qualification record system.
The maintenance trainer will be responsible for, preparing classrooms including training materials, maintaining / using training aids, student safety, conducting hands on classroom / lab activities, grading tests / projects, and evaluating student performance for the purpose of developing and maintaining a high degree of proficiency in the work force.
Training will be delivered via classroom instruction, on the flight-line or at offsite locations required to support Production, Field Operations, or International customers.
- Must possess proven experience and comprehensive knowledge of aircraft egress / crew escape systems, particularly related to the F-35 aircraft, with experience in an instructor role.
- Provide training to employees whose duties include installation, operational checkout, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aircraft systems including crew escape, fuel, hydraulics and landing gear, and propulsion systems.
- Subject matter may include installation and removal of components, testing, analysis, rework, adjustment, modification, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems at all levels of ground operations, manufacturing, and final assembly.
- Instruct and champion programs including but not limited to Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Clean As You Go (CAYG), Tool Control, hazardous chemical handling / disposal, and safety.
- Capable of executing lesson plans, using established training systems, and conducting classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, external stores, and facilities, according to established procedures.
- Analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs.
- Capable of writing, editing, and producing materials for technical instruction.
- Expected to build relationships and collaborate by providing assistance and support to Final Assembly and Flight-line Operations, aiding them in determining their training needs, developing course material, and evaluating training programs.
- Expected to be current in and maintain knowledge of the subject matter, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of applicable courseware.
- Provide technical expertise in a consulting role to engineering and / or Production teams to meet contract requirements including DCMA 8210 via Corrective Action Plan (CAP) actions, Aero Code changes, and Training Action Working Group evaluations.

Maintenance Technicians Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.
Responsibilities include :
- Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
- Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
- Ensure necessary tools are on hand
- Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents

What you'll be doing
- Oversee all aspects of the service operations to ensure operational goals are achieved.

What you must have :
- At least 8 years of general maintenance / general repair experience, 3 years of apartment industry experience required
- Management experience required
- EPA Universal certification required
- Trade skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance, etc.
- Trade Licensing preferred but not required
- Tech savvy; efficiently use computers and basic software programs
- Must have own tool kit
- Must live within 30 minutes of property
- Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, and responding to customer service requests.
Essential Functions Statement(s) :
Maintenance Services
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned
- Assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials
- Perform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standards
- Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments
- Notify Community Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetings
- Responsible for knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestos
- Perform other duties as required
- Maintain accurate record of all tasks completed
Customer Service
- Carry out maintenance aspects of the community in the Maintenance Supervisors absence; including scheduling staff and vendors, ordering new supplies, and working with Community Manager on other necessary improvements
- Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards
- Available for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service requests, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as schedule
- May occasionally be required to assist at other properties
- Run errands to support the property as necessary
Qualifications
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : High school diploma or equivalent, CFC Universal Certification preferred; must be attained within 90 days of hire;
sufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessment up to the standard of a Maintenance Technician
Experience : At least 3-4 years of maintenance experience
Technical Skills : Computer proficiency preferred
Other Requirements : Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
