We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lakecrest Village , a 224 unit apartment community in Houston, TX.

$1,500 sign on bonus included !

Position Summary :

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the general appearance and maintenance of the property to help create a great living experience for our residents.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor property for any repairs or replacements that may arise
  • Complete work requests for common areas and apartment units
  • Perform preventative maintenance on property
  • Assess and repair appliances as needed
  • Assist in preparing vacant units ready for new residents
  • Occasional on-call duties (trip stipend provided if called back to site after regular work hours)
  • Create and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications :

  • 1 - 2 years previous experience in maintenance preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and painting
  • HVAC and EPA experience preferred
  • CPO certification preferred
  • Valid drivers' license and insurance may be required

Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Maintain process and facility equipment for the development, implementation and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with company operations.
  • Ensures maintenance is scheduled in a timely manner and works closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.
  • Develops and / or maintains Key Performance Indicators for tracking and reporting the performance of the maintenance function (supplier performance, 3rd party contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, etc.)
  • Provides long term solutions and day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.
  • Evaluate and improve processes in manufacturing systems.
  • Follow and promote established best practices for process excellence.
  • Share best practices to help build a centralized knowledge base, including updating processes and procedures upon achieving significant improvements.
  • Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
  • Champion the continuous improvement process and relative metrics
  • Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process.
  • Trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
  • Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Maintains accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory.

Knowledge / Skills / Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • 3+ years Manufacturing experience required, industrial experience highly preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
  • Strong Microsoft office skills to include Excel and related computer applications
  • Proven detail attentiveness, organizational and time management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary :

Maintenance technicians are responsible for delivering the OTG guest experience by ensuring OTG-occupied areas, including markets and restaurants, are in good repair.

An OTG Maintenance Tech helps uphold the image of a facility by performing maintenance tasks, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and checklists.

Responsibilities :

As an OTG Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for general building maintenance in our airports.

By utilizing a variety of skills, encompassing most of the construction trade, you will maintain OTG standards while performing daily field service requirements.

Responsible for maintenance and general upkeep of OTG facilities as directed by the Senior Facility Manager and / or Lead Tech

Perform minor plumbing, and electrical repairs as requested

Perform general maintenance duties such as refrigeration cleanings, condenser coil cleanings and compressor replacements as needed

Perform monthly life safety and furniture checklist surveys as directed by Senior Facility Manager

Assist Lead Technician on two-man jobs that require assistance

Work with Lead Technician to ensure all work service requests are successfully executed and work orders and related documents are properly input and closed out in a timely manner

Request equipment and supplies for purposes of maintaining an inventory and ensuring the availability of required items to complete the necessary repairs

Respond to emergency situations to resolve immediate issues of life safety, operational stops, brand damage, or security concerns

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or High School Equivalent

Experience in restaurant equipment troubleshooting and repair is preferred

Demonstrate ability to communicate well with operations, vendors, co-workers, and management maintaining an effective working relationship

Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment

Physically able to climb ladders and lift and carry 50 lbs.

Process knowledge of PC and / or PDA for work order system and e-mails
