Mechanic must be able to work as a team or individually. Must comply with all Company SAFETY rules (LOCKOUT / TAGOUT, ETC) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure all assigned daily PM’s are completed.
- Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
- Aid other teams (Production, Quality- when needed).
- Always follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Safety Practices.
- Setup and visually inspect and tests machinery and equipment
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other personnel to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Follow all ISO 14001 procedures
- Other duties as needed.

- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read and execute work order, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Position Description :
QSR Employment DBA Dunkin' is seeking a driven, reliable, mechanically inclined, customer focused Maintenance Technician to join our Team.
This position provides service to Dunkin' stores in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas that include preventative maintenance / repair of restaurant and coffee equipment as well as building maintenance.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in our Dunkin' locations.
Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.
Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned.
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
- Repair, maintain / monitor all equipment and amenities
- Clean windows and glass doors
- Change of all filters for HVAC as required
- Prepare classrooms for incoming classes; remove or rearrange furniture for events or classes, as needed
- Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
- Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
- On call maintenance for all facilities, 24 / 7
- Responsible for organization and maintaining our offsite smallware and equipment storage facilities
- Maintain exterior property
- Restaurant equipment installs / removals
- Performs other work related duties as assigned
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be available in the event of urgent issues
Education and Work Experience Requirements :
- High school education or equivalent
- 5-10 years of working experience in facilities maintenance
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions :
- Ability to push / lift 75 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Working in high noise levels requiring hearing protection

Maintenance Position
Job Summary
The Maintenance position performs preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under management supervision.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities

- Assists personnel on special fabrication and construction projects.
- Follows preventative maintenance schedule.

- 2 years of experience with feedmill or similar industrial-type equipment.
- Experience in welding and piping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational school training preferred.

- Welding proficiency in MIG and Stick as well as vertical and overhead preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair control circuits and VFD installation preferred.

PAY & BENEFITS :
- Pay Range from $25.94 - $44.44 based on skills and experience.

- 1.5 pay over 8 hours, over 40 hours and weekends.
- 1.5 pay on holidays, plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, replace mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all plant equipment and facilities.
- Use maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste.
- Work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events.
- Will be required to complete in-house training programs to develop equipment specific maintenance skills. The position may also require attendance at external training that may require occasional overnight travel.
- Must be able to follow all safety and company policies that include lock-out tag-out procedures.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
- City of Omaha Boiler Operator's license.
- At least 1 year of experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Must have knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems and industrial equipment.
- Be passionate about maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Must have own basic tools (PCA will provide specialized tools and an annual tool allowance).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Technical degree and / or comparable experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment;
particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
