Responsibilities
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Attend safety meetings and participate in safety program.
- Maintenance repairs on all equipment including, but not limited to shredder, eddy current, hydraulics, etc.
- Changing liners, grates, hammers, etc. on the shredder.
- Work with maintenance teammates on preventative maintenance repairs, scheduled repair projects and normal production.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems with ability to assist with unscheduled repairs as needed.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools and stick welding. Operate mobile equipment as needed.
- Perform daily inspections on equipment reporting any defects or needed repairs to supervisor.
- Keep grounds clear of debris while maintaining safety standards.
- General labor duties that may include but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and general clean-up of any area and / or equipment throughout the yard.
- Effectively communicate over radio with teammates.
- Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service.
- Minimum of 2-years electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment. Knowledge of NEC codes and NFPA 70E.
- Previous mobile equipment experience a plus.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes of priority and complete job tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Flexible to work overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Bilingual preferred.

The Job You Will Perform :
- Perform maintenance functions making repairs in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic breakdowns under minimal guidance of the maintenance supervisor;
- Plan and obtain cost estimates and execute projects under guidance of the maintenance supervisor;
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance duties such as mechanical and electrical repairs;

Entry level position performing basic automotive services in the shop area
Responsibilities
Tire Service Duties (50%)
- Repairs and balances tires
- Operates tire changer, handles air impact wrenches and torque wrenches
- Changes tires in the service department for Boss' cars as required based on flow of sales mix in location. (Total weight of wheels and tires together weigh an average of (30 to 55 lbs.
