  • Monitor purchasing requirement and analyze SAP demand VS actual / practical demand when necessary. Place PO on supplier and follow through until the PO is accurately & timely received at assigned destination.
  • Work on PO revisions per production or sales order changes. Actively involved in supplier negotiation to ensure timely PO delivery to suit business needs.
  • Proactively engage both internal & external suppliers by sharing material forecast to ensure necessary & timely stock replenishment at supplier site to fulfill Barco demand.
  • Lead goods return process for repair & swap, align with the warehouse, I&E & logistics teams to complete whole workflow.
  • SAP data maintenance as assigned.
  • Track and report inventory status when needed.
  • Be responsible for the availability of materials, tooling and test systems during NPI process.
  • Continuously explore potential improvement area, such as cost saving, purchasing terms, working efficiency, etc
  • Other tasks assigned by the team leader.

Education :

Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Experience :

Minimum 5 years purchasing experience.

Competencies :

  • Strong sense of accountability, professionalism & business ethics. Can work under pressure.
  • Good analysis, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Good English ability both in writing & speaking.
  • Computer competency in Microsoft Office : e.g. Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint & Word.
  • Commodity knowledge (e.g. mechanical parts, electronics components).
  • Trade and logistic know-how.
  • SAP expertise to be a plus.

Purpose

The Logistics manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager with day-to-day functions of the airport, working with the merchandise and resolving issues using a retail management system;

supervising the activities of subordinates, assigning responsibility for specified work; and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management .

Logistics Manager Key Accountabilities :

  • Provides excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving, processing and distributing merchandise and supplies to stores
  • Supervises day-to-day activities of subordinates
  • Assists management in covering and running shifts
  • Assists with scheduling to ensure that all shifts are covered
  • Complies with delivery schedules; accurately, timely, and efficiently processes deliveries
  • Utilizes computer to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations
  • Assists in the transportation of orders and returns between the warehouse and stores (where applicable)
  • Identifies damaged and expired products
  • Implements product rotation based on product code dates in warehouse and concepts

  • Assists with ticketing according to branch standards for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reviews in-coming orders and advise Merchandise and / or Warehouse Manager of errors and questions and assist in resolutions when appropriate.
  • Ensures that information from related ordering and receiving forms are processed according to company standards and are correctly entered into the Retail Management System.
  • Updates information in the RMS as needed and produce appropriate reports.
  • Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of product
  • Assumes responsibility for effective communication, coordination, and working relationships between associates and management

Specific Required Qualifications :

  • SAP experience is a must!!
  • Supply Chain / Logistics experience
  • 2-5 years of managerial experience in a retail / warehouse environment
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with subordinates.
  • Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
  • Requires the ability to drive a truck safely.
  • High school diploma.
  • The ability to lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and meet company requirements for Safe Driving record
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory / lead experience

Accountabilities

Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities :
