You will provide guest satisfaction through recipe execution and preparing high-quality food for our Guests.
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Crack Shack recipes
- Set up work station with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Crack Shack guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Leader in quality control, food safety procedures, and restaurant food safety guidelines
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adhere to Crack Shack safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous kitchen is preferred . But we offer on-the-job training.
- Previous pastry cooking experience is preferred.
- Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of our guests.
- Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry.

You’re the meat to our burger! You prepare our Farm Fresh menu items and make sure they meet our high standards / specifications for food safety, portioning, sizing, packaging and plating.

We’re Looking For
- At least 16 years old
- Previous cooking experience in a fast-casual restaurant a plus
- Physically required to stand (up to 4 hours at a time), walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Approximately 99% of time is spent in a standing and / or walking mode

Line Cook
Chef Bobby Flay is bringing an all-new restaurant concept to Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas in Spring, 2019. Shark will have a seafood-focused menu with a Latin beat, with sushi and sashimi selections, ceviches and tartares, and bold preparations of fish and seafood.
The menu is heavily influenced by ingredients from South America, Mexico and the Mediterranean.
Ideal Line Cook candidates for this position will have a no-compromise approach to food preparation and presentation.
Skills, Duties and Essential Functions :
- 2 plus years restaurant experience
- Culinary training / education preferred
- Fast paced, fine dining experience
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

We are in need of cooks for the evening shift to prep & cook large batches of food. Cooking / Prep experience is required for this role.
We cook / prep very much like a cafeteria / buffet-style production. You would be working with a team of other prep cooks, sauté cooks, oven cooks, and grill cooks.

SUMMARY OF POSITION : Non-exempt, full or part-time
position. The line cook is responsible for Farmer
Boys’ overall meal preparation and
presentation in a consistent and efficient manner according to Farmer Boys'
standards while using independent decision-making. Employees in this position
provide customers with menu items as quickly, conveniently, and efficiently
as possible in a friendly manner. A line cook is also required to work with other
cooks and servers / cashiers in a team-like and friendly manner. Other duties
as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES :to food safety and sanitation procedures as trained and as directed by the
Manager in Charge
Prepares
meals as assigned according to Farmer Boys cooking specifications and
customer requests
Ensures
correct portioning, sizing, packaging, plate presentation, wrapping,
freshness, and speed of service
Follows
food preparation sheet to ensure appropriate stock levels for items used and
provides feedback to management in regard to par levels and usage
Notifies
the manager of any perishable items whose freshness is questionable
Operates,
cleans, and sharpens all appropriate food preparation equipment
Reports
all spoilage and poor-quality products to the manager immediately
Communicate
with cashiers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring correct order
fulfillment
Maintains
stock and cleanliness of required work areas as directed by the Manager in
charge
