A Day In The Shack

you will be responsible for the security of all money and liquor behind the bar. You will maintain the bar as seen from the guest's perspective and always clean, organized, and orderly.

You will monitor cocktail service to ensure that all guests receive the necessary attention and required degree of service.

The bar at The Crack Shack will be full service for our guests. You should greet guests immediately, with an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.

You will take orders and serve beverages promptly while using suggestive selling techniques and thorough product knowledge.

You must be an active member of the Union to apply.

As a bartender, the first contact you have with the guest is a very important time. You are the first impression the guest will have of our bar service.

Your greeting should be positive and warm to create a hospitable impression of yourself, in addition to the restaurant.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable about the menu and be prepared to input any food orders for guests in addition to drink orders.

A Day In The Shack

When your inspiration is as wide as the world and your chickens as free as the ranges they roam, a culinary treat beyond the ordinary is ready to hatch.

your primary responsibility will be the overall cleanliness of the shack. You will assist your fellow coworkers in ensuring a smooth day of service by cleaning and sweeping the dining room, resetting each table with full sauce caddies, taking out the garbage, stocking ice in the bar, cleaning the bathrooms, and stocking the bar.

When bussing tables, it is important to pre-buss tables. We do not want our guests to sit with dirty plates or glasses in front of them! Always check with the guests to make sure they would like you to clear their place.

You will also need to wipe down tables and sweep the floor to make sure no guest sits at a dirty table. This is particularly important during the rush!

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.

No previous experience is needed . We offer on-the-job training.

Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of our guests.

Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry.

Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.

Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment as well as to work the line during service periods.

Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors and guests.

You will provide guest satisfaction through recipe execution and preparing high-quality food for our Guests.

  • Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Crack Shack recipes
  • Set up work station with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Crack Shack guidelines
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Leader in quality control, food safety procedures, and restaurant food safety guidelines
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Adhere to Crack Shack safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by upper management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous kitchen is preferred . But we offer on-the-job training.
  • Previous pastry cooking experience is preferred.
