Responsibilities :

• Ensure assigned location(s) are thoroughly cleaned, assigned projects completed, and that customer is satisfied with completed work
• Clean facility by sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming and cleaning surfaces
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc in restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchen
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to maintain safety and prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen
• Regularly check and replace trash receptacles and empty waste baskets into disposal areas
• Wipe down walls and woodwork, doors, wall hangings, baseboards, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and team member restrooms (including cleaning and policing)
• Handle additional approved special requests from customers
• Operate and sanitize equipment in a safe and proper manner
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours
• Ensure electrical appliance are turned off
• Restock carts and closets at end of each shift
• Identify and report possible repairs

As a Housekeeping Manager for Allied Universal Janitorial Services, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating the upkeep of the facility by carrying out all cleaning functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Using effective methods to keep staffing at acceptable levels, working within budgeted hours and expenses.
• Manage the department work schedule to ensure proper preparation and adequate staffing daily and for special events.
• Train and manage staff setting site operational goals for each department, regularly assessing performance, and quickly making effective corrections to performance and conduct, including retraining, employee corrective action and development plans.
• Process new hires, scheduling, and payroll paperwork for all personnel.
• Manage the daily activities of each department to include appropriate cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, restrooms, offices, etc.
• Ensure the proper care, maintenance, and presentation of interior and exterior landscaped areas.

• Follow all health and safety regulations.

• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent for full time positions.
