The Manager, Talent Experience - Programs, manages the programmatic and engagement efforts of The Home Depot's award-winning summer internship program. The manager is responsible for designing and managing all components of the summer internship program experience. This role will collaborate with Human Resources Partners, Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers, and other key business stakeholders to provide a best-in-class internship experience that attracts top entry-level talent nationwide. A successful manager will be proactive, flexible, detail-oriented, a strong communicator and cross-functional partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, improve, and implement engagement activities / programming related to the internship
- Work cross-functionally with HR Partners and Business Partners to ensure alignment with enterprise needs
- Provide creative solutions to keep talent engaged pre, during, and post-internship program
- Support workstreams such as Program Steering Committee
- Partner with brand and creative team to develop marketing materials and creative needs
- Conduct research to identify trends and assess competitive landscape for retail and technology internship programs
- Support recruiting events as needed as part of the Early Career team
- Partner with Corporate Communications to elevate awareness of the internship program
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships

Position Overview:
TI&SC Innovative Capabilities Solutions Architect plays a critical role in activating and operationalizing the TI&SC, global capabilities strategy across the TI&SC enterprise. This role ensures practical and systemic delivery, actionable and effective metrics and continuous improvements as we deliver today’s business results and tomorrow’s growth projections. TI&SC Innovative Capabilities Solutions Architect will lead, defining, piloting and executing the platforms, processes, systems and tools for TI&SC capabilities. This role will ensure consistent look and feel across TI&SC training inventory, ensure platform for curatable, always on content across TI&SC. The Solutions Architect will ensure sustainable and systemic learning and development and Capabilities via templates and tools to create and maintain dynamic playbooks, active and current knowledge repositories. Summary:
TI&SC Capabilities Execution and Communications Manager plays a critical role in leading TI &SC Capabilties communications and rewards and recognition programs and executing and ensuring the long-term health of TISC Capabilities programming. This role will execute critical programming across TI&SC and partner across TI&SC capabilities to proactively set clear metrics for all programs aligned with TI&SC success criteria, lead tracking, reporting and continuouse improvement action planning with TI&SC Capabilities program owners. Position Overview:
Technical, Innovation and Supply Chain (TISC) Capabilities is a critical enabler to the global TI&SC strategy. TI&SC is anchored by 6 Strategic Objective Big Rocks that guide how we deliver the vision of “Keeping the Promise OF LOVED BRANDS, DONE SUSTAINABLY, FOR A BETTER SHARED FUTURE.” TI&SC is a critical contributor to the company’s ~$33B Net-Revenue and the System’s $65B Supply Chain. In strong partnership with HR, TI&SC Capabilities delivers TI&SC’s Critical Enablers: Accelerate People Capability Agenda & Strengthen our Culture.
TI&SC Emerging Capabilities Director plays a critical role in creating the cross TI&SC, global capabilities emerging capabilities strategy, roadmap and tools needed to deliver today’s business results and tomorrow’s growth projections. TISC Capabilities Emerging Capabilities Director will lead, partner and collaborate to develop robust and sustainable Capabilities for emerging capabilities (i.e. partner for emerging market needs, and emerging capabilities needs, i.e. digital, etc). As a part of the emerging capabilities roadmap design, they will play a critical role partnering closely with the TI&SC capabilities team to ensure emerging capabilities are reflected TISC capabilities evolution and create broad and robust networks internally and externally to ensure enduring connections and robust ecosystems that enable sustainable ongoing learning, coordinated efforts and share best practices, provide governance an shape the future of TI&SC emerging capability efforts.
Key Expectations:
Strategic Emerging TI&SC Capabilities Leadership
Define TI&SC emerging Capability strategy roadmap (Africa, INSWA, Digital, etc)
Develop and pilot TI&SC Leadership Programming
Redesign Supply Chain Programming Portfolio
Develop capabilities processes, tools, networks, etc to ensure above program is sustainable
TISC Emerging Capabilities and Skills Development
Create TISC emerging capabilities fundamentals toolkit and deploy across Capabilities Leadership
Own and lead needs and gaps assessment for critical TISC emerging capabilities (i.e. Digital, etc)
Develop, pilot, deploy programming to address gaps in critical TISC emerging capabilities needs
Contribute/partner to influence and develop TI&SC capabilities for future functional leaders and across
Integrate new, emerging TI&SC capabilities &skills into existing/new TI&SC and Enterprise/Company tools
Lead Structure, Effectiveness and Governance COE’s/SOS Efforts To Accelerate Emerging TI&SC Capabilities
Scale, execute and govern TISC system COE model.
Ensure ongoing COE effectiveness, evolution and health of each team
Collaborate/co-lead integration of SOS effort into COE and create model to ensure robust ecosystem for sustainable efforts after COE interventions
Create playbook template for COEs to leverage
Create and maintain platform structure for COE knowledge retention, sharing, on demand access
Network Leadership
Create TI&SC emerging capability network and routines (Ou Tech Ops, system, functional as needed, etc)
Active participation and represent emerging TI&SC Capabilities in Capability Council and routines
Imports and exports best practices across functions/geographies for the betterment of the organization
Contribute to TI&SC Global Leader Network (GLN) Talent Development & Capabilities content with HR
Connect external to the company to “bring the outside in” and ensure TI&SC capabilities is best in class

In this role you will deliver and participate in the following:
A clear roadmap for TI&SC emerging Capabilities including the processes, tools, networks needed to deliver sustainable solutions
A set of global emerging capabilities for all TI&SC function associates that positions the function to win and encourages internal growth and development
Opportunities to lead, learn and influence COE’s/ SOS across the system
Use data, analytics and external benchmarks to inform strategy and decision-making, while also staying connected to business realities
Drive the change to create a learning culture by designing and leading the development of tailored learning programs in partnership with the global TI&SC, global HR Learning COE, etc
Orchestrating curriculum development and delivery platforms
Optimizing user experience, roll-out, support & adaptation of the program.
advise stakeholders on best practices in adult learning such as social & peer learning, gamification of learning, informal learning, and real-time performance support.
Lead the capability communities of practice to deliver across the global Function
Consult and contribute across TI&SC and TCCC Learning organization to design, develop, and test learning content
Strengthen the learning mindset in the organization, educating TI&SC on learning & capability building.
Lead Capability and Development business planning aligned to the global ABP calendar and milestones
Actively participate and contribute to the “Big Bets” of TI&SC People, Capability and Culture Agenda
Champion a culture of learning, experimentation and knowledge sharing across the function.

Build a robust plan to address and implement key emerging opportunities in TI&SC
Organize & lead system resources to deploy emerging capabilities programs and support deployment of global efforts

Experience Required:
Ideally 10+ years’ experience in Corporate and Operating Unit environment
Prior Technical or Capability experience, function or HR
Leading and active and effective management a diverse range of stakeholders
Consistent delivery of solutions that achieve business results
Adept at facilitating large groups and aligning on key agreements
