Housekeepers are a necessary part of our community working to clean and maintain private residences, while ensuring a sanitary and comfortable space for coworkers, residents, and their guests.
In addition to cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms and communal spaces, housekeepers may also be required to change bedding, do laundry, and keep inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
What You’ll Do
Clean and Organize
- Keep our facilities spotlessly clean and well kept
- Clean residents’ rooms and shared areas
- Respond with urgency upon requests
- Dispose of waste
- Execute laundry service and daily changing of residents’ beds, including ironing and pressing as needed
Maintain
- Inspect residents’ rooms and communal areas to ensure they are tidy
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
- Reset areas after use, keeping safety and sanitation as a motivating factor in your work
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-year experience as a housekeeper or within a similar cleaning environment
- Working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and methods, including cleaning of sensitive or potentially hazardous materials
Initiative
- Proven ability to take initiative with tasks, especially with safety and sanitation
- Compassion and caring nature, showing a strong desire to provide comfort to guests / residents

Overview :
The Housekeeper will perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of guest's rooms in an orderly manner.
Duties may include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
- Hang draperies and dust window blinds.
- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
