Implements procedures and systems as directed by Study Hotel’s corporate office and enforces policies, procedures, and brand standards.

Reviews and reports on the hotel and restaurant’s positions in areas of income, expense, and earnings, based on past, present, and future operations and validates completeness and accuracy to the General Manager and Study Hotel’s corporate office.

Ensures the accurate and timely payment for all vendors, including fees relating to federal, state, and local taxes, licenses, permits and regulatory contracts.

Works with department leads to proactively assist with purchase orders, cost control, revenue enhancement possibilities, and monthly reporting requirements.

Works alongside the General Manager in creating the annual budget. Manages the processes, facilitates meetings, and gathers feedback from department leads.

Acts as the property’s check and balance in all financial aspects. Reviews all revenue adjustments, paid out vouchers, and complimentary guest amenities.

Fundamentals Education : A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred. Experience : A minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a proven advancement record and currently employed in a management position.

Skilled in the use of advanced, moderately complex, Property Management, Point of Sale, Accounting, and Time & Attendance Systems.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Possess a thorough knowledge of Accounting practices and procedures including the Uniform Systems of Accounts for the Hotel Industry.

Proficient with US, State, and Local tax regulations. Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills including follow up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to positively communicate and interact with all hotel departments, external vendors, and guests. Study Hotels is a drug free workplace.
