Responsibilities

The Hospitality Associate ensures that residents and guests experience five-star service at this luxury community. This individual is a resident’s point of contact for all requested services.

Serve as the point of contact for all resident requests and ensure all tasks are properly recorded in the hospitality software and fulfilled in a timely fashion.

Requests include, but are not limited to, wake-up calls, appointment reminders, restaurant reservations, RSVPing to community events, assisting with transportation or other reservations, answering questions about the Resident Engagement calendar, putting residents in contact with appropriate department Directors, etc.

  • Handle all resident and resident family / guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Become familiar with local businesses; provide directions to local staples or attractions, and can provide personalized services through identifying resident preferences.
  • Facilitate Community Service Requests.
  • Take appropriate initiative; respond and follow through promptly to various needs and requests.
  • Perform clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
  • Escalate issues to management or other team members as required.
  • Knowledgeable about community operations, including services, amenities, and programming.
  • Assist in the coordination of the Community’s schedule. This includes, but is not limited to, being aware of Resident Engagement excursions, scheduling appointments for residents, and, when applicable, assisting residents in coordinating transportation.
  • Communicate effectively to team members to provide a five-star level of service.
  • Create a Welcoming & Caring First Impression for residents and guests.
  • Assist residents with the delivery of personal items as needed.
  • May perform other duties as needed and / or assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years of related experience.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required.
  • Must successfully complete all Coterie specified training programs.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and technology.
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve.
  • Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
  • Ability to operate a telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, and a photocopier.
  • Position requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle
  • and / or personal vehicle).
  • Must possess valid driver’s license.
  • Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Atria motor vehicle policy standards.

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and deliver polished client deliverables and other critical framework materials to support client decision-making
  • Oversee multiple direct reports, providing impactful leadership, motivation, direction and support for client objectives and individual career paths;

  • Lead responsibility of annual hospitality strategy laddering up to parent partnership strategy and objectives
  • Ideation, operations, oversight and delivery of numerous hospitality projects, informed by established hospitality strategy
  • Manage large-scale project budgets from initial build through reconciliation
  • Maintain a working relationship with existing partners, vendors, and properties on behalf of the client and Wasserman

Requirements

  • Robust experience managing multiple direct reports
  • Proven experience as an event planner or organizer, preferably in the high-end hosting space
  • Impressive portfolio of previously managed events
  • Self-starter who requires little to no supervision to meet and carry out event and service responsibilities
  • Excellent customer service, time management and communication skills
  • Basic sales skills and ability to build productive business / vendor relationships
  • Ability to identify and maximize event opportunities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently

Benefits
