The Assistant General Manager will oversee day to day operations of this busy neighborhood restaurant that features delicious pizzas and cocktails.
The AGM is responsible for supporting the development and scheduling of the team of managers and all hourly employees. The AGM ensures all FOH and BOH employees are trained, certified, understand, and follow quality standards.
The GM coaches for performance and redirects substandard work
The Assistant General Manager ensures guests receive superior service and the team upholds operational and human resources policies and procedures.
The AGM drives sales and costs (COGS) and makes sure operating expenses meet budgeted goals
The AGM will effectively communicate to the team and corporate office, ensure the restaurant is properly cleaned, maintained and that all equipment is working properly.
Ensure restaurant meets all Health Department standards and codes, and all tribe members are complying with all safe food handling procedures and sanitation standards
REQUIREMENTS :
The AGM needs to be :
Experienced in full service restaurant operations with notable restaurants at least 2-3 years of AGM level experience in full service, fine / casual restaurants
Able to speak, see, hear, read, and write English
Able to handle stressful situations, resolve conflict and be an excellent listener
Able to reach with hands, climb, balance, taste, and smell
Able to bend, stoop, perform extensive walking and up to 10 hours a day or more standing and / or performing other physical tasks as needed
Able to lift 50 lbs and carry 10 feet
Able to comprehend and articulate complex ideas
Able to work at least 50-55 hours a week or more as needed, must have flexible schedules and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

AT SONDER YOU WILL :
- Respond to day-to-day guest requests, issues, and other outreach using the Sonder Service Principles
- Guide guests through the Sonder experience, ensuring they have an amazing first impression
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues (e.g., upholstery stain removal, light bulb replacements, access to units, wifi connectivity or overseeing contractor appointments)
- Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our units to ensure that hospitality standards are met consistently and robust feedback to our vendors is relayed in a timely fashion
- Assist with inventory duties such as preparing turnover kits, receiving deliveries, and tracking linen / consumables use
- Maintenance and organization of working spaces including office, storage closets, warehouse and others, as assigned
- Travel to multiple Sonder properties throughout the local market, as required

The Job
- As a Hospitality Team Member, you are responsible for achieving our mission of providing each guest with a truly wonderful experience as well as;
