The Director, Asset Management, Healthcare leads the management of a $300 mm-plus NOI portfolio of acute and post-acute healthcare investments and loans which comprises national and international assets and represents a material portion of Ventas’ enterprise-level net operating income.

The Director is responsible for proactive thought leadership, oversight of portfolio performance, operator relationship management, identifying value-add and growth opportunities, assessing risk and identifying options to mitigate, financial reporting (collaborating with FP&A), and leading a high performing team of managers and financial analysts.

The successful candidate will have direct exposure to Ventas’ Executive Leadership Team, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities

Portfolio performance oversight to include monitoring tenant, borrower and guarantor financial, leverage and operating covenant requirements;

Qualifications

  • Prior restructuring experience (either loans or leases), including knowledge of restructuring alternatives
  • Experience with acute or post-acute healthcare operators ideal, either within a healthcare setting or as a financial partner
  • Track record of success in an institutional, dynamic, and fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a results-oriented and collaborative culture
