We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team!
Support the housekeeping (EVS) department leadership to maintain a high level of cleanliness and consistency throughout all areas of the hospital.
Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal.
Responsibilities
Oversee team members and assign cleaning duties to ensure coverage of all areas
Perform daily inspections and maintain quality control programs
Manage supplies and ensure team members have the equipment necessary to complete job assignments
Assist with payroll and administrative duties as assigned
Assist with cleaning areas of the hospital as needed to ensure full coverage
Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old

Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
GED or high school diploma
Experience as a supervisor preferred
Preferred : Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
