Skills and Experience Required for Success

  • 3+months of related experience
  • Certification in forklift operation
  • Must be able to quickly identify materials
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to pass Hazmat exam

Education

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform any of the following activities at various levels of speed as directed by the Team Leader :
  • Safely Operate Forklift and material handling equipment.
  • Perform inventory functions including but not exclusive to : Cycle counts, physical inventory, product checks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Transports wire, stands, spools, and other materials as needed to various locations within the mill, and limited areas in the yard with a forklift.
  • Coordinates activities with production machine operators to ensure that raw materials arrive when required and the finished product is removed from the various production areas in an efficient manner.

Job Requirements
